Moonman: "I also challenge NASA to flight around the moon on any of their next shuttle missions. They don't need to land on it, just fly around it."

Hi Ginnie and all. I just joined today. I am actually researching some stuff for a feature film I'm writing. Trying to figure out what makes a CT tick, so to speak, and also get response from some other things I've uncovered during my research on this character. Any way, I think this place on the web is pretty cool. I hope you all read and respond to my post.

Welcome Gonehollywood. I initially hoped you were a Hollywood person who wanted to get advice on doing an Apollo film accurately, so we could tell you, among other things, "Don't get it wrong by showing Armstrong jumping down to the footpad (which he did twice) and saying this is him stepping onto the moon. He did that later." And also, "Don't repeat Hanks' and Howard's screw-ups in both Apollo 13 and From the Earth to the Moon where they had the Saturn V's engines ignite on zero in the countdown, instead of them having ignited over eight seconds before."
Oh well. Perhaps you should look at fellow-member JayUtah's website Clavius (link at the bottom of every page here) to see what he says in "Why a Conspiracy?", "Occam's Razor", "Mythbusters" (top left) etc.

Hi, I found this page when directed here by someone recommending the Moonman saga as good reading. I've been reading up on some of the longer threads ever since.

I joined this forum a few days ago after seeing some of the ludicrous claims which have been made on those hoax and conspiracy web sites. The photo that got me started was 5903 from Apollo 11. Hoax believers claimed that Aldrin was lit by a second light source, and they made claims about what what they thought they see reflected in Aldrin's visor. Anyway, it seems that most of these conspiracy fanatics are intelligently insane. Did I coin a new phrase to describe a mental condition?

I'm Mario, from Croatia. I'm making an educational site in Croatian language and after i found out that a lot of people here believe it was a hoax i decided to make a section of the site dedicated to debunking those claims.

Sgtsmo here! 21 years Army and then I spent some time producing talk radio programs. My daughter got me interested in this stuff a few years ago. She told me she learned in school that we really didn't go to the moon (she has since changed her opinion.) I guess I just assumed that everyone KNEW we went to the moon, so I began to study up on it. I guess my experience has made me the consumate skeptic. But I do love to hear these people try to convince the world their theory is sound. The best I have ever heard was a guy, I think he was a cab driver, HS dropout, self taught physicist. He believed that he had more knowledge than the Phd's in the space program. I see by some of the posts here, that tere are even more interesting individuals.
Oh well, gotta love 'em!

Hi there everyone. I live in the Netherlands. Watched TV on July 20th (together with my father) and witnessed Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. Ever since I'm interested in space programs. Went to the US and visited Florida and the JFK space center several times. Even witnessed a launch of the Shuttle! I learned about the moonhoax conspiracy crap through a little article in a local newspaper, interviewing a hoaxer.
