Oh I just noticed on Mr Hagbards forum a comment that indicated that he has told us we are wrong. This comment appears to be related to the C rock (I know we know and it has been gone over here). So just in case Mr H is looking in I thought I would mention it for him to tell us the error of our ways. Or have I read the other forum wrong Mr H?
I have to say though, you don't half learn a lot when people start to elaborate on different abilities for lifting etc.

If anyone here has an original Apollo 16 Preliminary Science Report could they take a look at page 4-14 and tell me if the rock has a "c" on it? (NASA SP-315 is the document number) No sign of a C in my copy.

(NASA SP-315 is the document number) No sign of a C in my copy. Well isn't that very interesting? Here we have a printed document from 1972 which seems to suggest that the "C" is indeed a hair. Isn't the tired '(and wrong) HB claim that once the "C" was found it was conveniently airbrushed out?? How does that explain the lack of a "C" in an original 1972 publication? Or did the grand wizards at NASA who have omnipotent power to do anything except actually land on the moon somehow alter the photo to first have a "C" and then decades later airbrush it out??? My brain hurts.

The same image was used as the cover picture for Aviation Week magazine (8th May 1972), which I again have in hard copy. A bigger, better and earlier reproduction than the one in SP-315. Once again, no C.

Do you have any way of scanning or photographing that? Here.Thank you, thank you, Gwiz. Excellent! I have downloaded the biggest copy for future use. JayUtah might want it for Clavius. The only copy I have from a magazine has the C. I've heard about early copies that don't have it, but have never seen one that can be verified as being an early version. One could hardly find better than a dated magazine cover. Just one small evidentiary thing, in what country was the magazine published?

Just one small evidentiary thing, in what country was the magazine published? Sorry for the delay in replying, I've been on holiday. Aviation Week is a US magazine, sometimes referred to as Aviation Leak because it has a reputation for publishing things the US Government would rather keep secret.

Here is my take on Mr Hagbard. He does not have anything to back up his claims and at the the moment has not presented anything except handwaving. I am not angry, I am waiting for him to address his claims with actual evidence.
I read his forum on the topic and he does not present anything there either. Hot air.

He is just a guy that wants to be happy in his beliefs and not be bothered by questions or the truth.

He did actually take back that contention on the C rock, I remember reading it ages ago....... www.davidicke.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1058921063&postcount=826Just need to get him to admit they didn't fly there in spaceships to take it!

He never replied to my request to clarify his contradictory claims about the Van Allen belts.
