I've discovered the true fate of socks. The dryer starts a metamorphosis process which results in the socks quietly scaling the wall and draping themselves over the closet rod to become wire clothes hangers. There simply is no other explanation for the relationship between the steady disappearance of socks and the accumulation of all those hangers in my closet.

Socks have their own science. From the day they are mined, they do things.....

Possibly it while he was on contract with the UN, adding unnecessary words to their publications.
Or when he was designing the Greatest Bicycle Ever. I forget.

And it was her Flying Pigeon bicycle that inspired him to open a bike repair shop.

Nice one carpediem.
I suspect the current absence of Doctor Socks from his known haunts means only that he is currently pontificating at some other forum, playing expert with all the the knowledge he didn't have until he came here.

The one reason I stay in this debate is what I learn from it. To answer our friend's claims over at JREF I just read several of the appendices to the Apollo 13 review report and I found them fascinating. You can learn a lot by watching forensics being done.

Indeed, I have repeatedly thanked conspiracy theorists for reigniting my childhood interest in space travel and the technologies thereof.
