I just can't work out why NASA are so reluctant to address the suggestion that the moon landings were faked.

Why should they dignify crackpots with a formal response?

NASA did try to commission a book on this topic once, but as tanalia pointed out the relatively small amount of money for it was publicly decried as a waste. As a taxpayer, I agree.

Besides, there's more than enough brainpower on a site like this or BAUT to answer such claims, and we do it for free, simply because we (a) are interested in space travel and (b) despise ignorance and irrationality.

okie dokey. You've been posting a lot on the general discussion forum. A lot of picture galleries and the like. No issues related to apollo are pressing at the moment I guess? You don't even appear to be participating in the apollo hoax threads (besides this one of course), although I could be wrong I haven't checked all of them.

You've also been pretty quiet on this thread. What's your opinion of Bart Sibrel? You don't seem to be attempting to defend him in this thread.

2- Bart Sibrel's best catch: Buzz Aldrin saying, while being showed the video: well, you are speaking to the wrong guy, why don't you speak to NASA administrator. We're passengers. guys on the flight

You understood what well? Aldrin's comment? The topical context in which it was made? The cultural context in which it was made?

Could someone who's watched the video tell me just what Aldrin said, and in response to what? I apologize for appealing to someone else to do that work, but I don't have time to watch that now.

please stop wasting my time. The sentence Aldrin said is as clear as day. He didn't defend scientifically one shred of the video shown to him, and accusing him of falsifying fake video. All he said was : put off the camera, what you are doing is unethical,..and finally: well, you're speaking to the wrong guy. Why don't you speak to NASA admin. We're passengers. guys on the flight.
