Hi all. New to this site. was recommended ' Dark Moon' to read, And I got interested in it. then I was 50/50 as to what had happened but the more I read the more I could see the truth that has been not been written about. Especially in the few photos that have been put into this book. A visit to the NASA website and viewed a good majority of their database of Apollo, All the answers that Bennett and Percy came out with, I could see the a real explanation to the photo. What I really like to know is , does anyone know the past on Bennett as doing a search on the web, keeps pointing back to the 'Dark Moon' There just don't seem to be anything on her. Is she a mystery like her moon landings? ? By the way take a look at the photo on page 22 dark moon. Fig 19a shows some trees. the center tree shadow has a slight bend in. A straight vertical tree trunk and a bent shadow. Oh look theres a depression in the ground. Bennett and Percy may have shot themselves in their own foot. Now I found this web site 'Clavius' and it is full of interest and truth.

Clavius is the work of one of our Posters, actually the most prolific poster here (grrr, he's gotten over 100 more than me again.) I'd check the profiles Jay has on the Clavius site, or wait for him to post, he'll be along in a few minutes.

I'm the Clavius guy. And my fingers are bloody from out-posting PhantomWolf. Seriously, I'm glad you find the site interesting. As with all web sites, it's still a work in progress. I address many of Dark Moon's claims there, but not all of them. If there's anything you can't find there and would like to talk about, this is the place to do it. I don't know what Mary Bennett has done aside from co-authoring Dark Moon. And I don't know much about her aside from the biography printed in the book. I don't know what her role was in the writing of the book. David Percy seems to handle most of the technical discussion, especially having to do with photography. It is therefore common to attribute all of Dark Moon to Percy, omitting (perhaps inaccurately) that Bennett might have made the claim. The companion video What Happened on the Moon? (snippets of which pop up at YouTube) appears to be the work of Percy alone.

Thanks for the reply. It just seems like she as mysterious as THE book is. Percy on the search is that there is quite a bit about him. but if him a professional in his field of photography, then surely he should be looking at the whole of the photo and not just what he is told to look at. And as for all the other claptrap contained with in is science/tech gone science/wierd. definatly lost the plot from the first page.
Glad to see there some jovial banter on 'Clavius'. Hope fingers aint to blooded to the bone.
Great site to be on, only came by it looking up you know who ?

Mary Bennett is simply an unknown quantity. She is neither a particular strength nor a particular liability. "Cosmic" Dave Cosnette, who runs a UFO and Apollo site based largely on the Dark Moon material, claims to know her and to have consulted here when the matter of the Surveyor film footage came to light. Aside from that dubious second-hand reference, we have no real evidence that any such person as "Mary Bennett" actually exists!

Dark moon 'IN THE BIN' Recycled I hope... or is it Dam'ned Material that won't compost? I keep thinking about reading the HB stuff, but I can't bring myself to exchange money for it. Perhaps if someone does find Ms Bennett, I can get her to fax me a copy, one page at a time...

;D In the fine spirit of the following response to criticism, variously attributed to Max Reger or Beethoven:
"I am sitting in the smallest room of my house: your review is before me. Soon it will be behind me."
