Today is the 36th anniversay of the Appolo 11 landing, and the 29th anniversary of the Viking 1 landing on Mars. Someday, July 20th may be a world-wide holiday. I wonder on which world?

When man eventually settles on the Moon I think the Apollo 11 landing site should remain untouched as a museum piece.

Oh, I don't know. I've always fancied Hadley Rille as a tourist destination. Tranquility Base is a natural choice for preservation, both for its historical context and because the site is very small. Neil & Buzz didn't wander more than a few dozen yards from the Eagle.
In his 1976 novel, Imperial Earth, Arthur Clarke described just such an exhibit/monument in the year 2276.
Btw, I'm planning my 100th birthday party on the Moon (hotel as yet to be determined). Y'all are invited (BYOB). Pencil it in for December 10th, 2063. Hoax Believers are welcome. ;D

No you'll have to let tourists look around some of the other landing sites. Otherwise some people will say we never went to the Moon between 1969 and 1972, the conspiracy theory would never end
