Assuming that all goes well and the CEV gets built and we do aim for the moon again... Does anyone here think they'd "revisit" the old landing sites? Or heck even land near them? I'd say "no" at least not for A11's landing site so as not to disturb the first human footprints on another world... (Hey, shaddap, I know it's technically a "satellite" and not another planet...give me my moment! )

I say they won't just because they'll have a hard enough time justifying the expense as it is, without turning one of the flights into a 'let's go back and see it' flight.
If they did revisit the sites there is one good justification for doing so: they will be excellent case studies for the effects of long terms exposure to the lunar environment, and will provide valuable data for any planned lunar bases. The down side of this justification is that it will necessarily entail dismantling/disturbing the sites because they will have to collect material from them for study.
