I recently ordered the Spacecraft Films Apollo 12 DVD set, only to have it arrive with only the first two discs in the case, the whereabouts of disc 3 unknown. Presumably this happened at the source, since it was sealed when I got it.
Having contacted the distributors they informed me that a) they could not send the individual missing disc to me but could only replace the whole set, and b) that since I was an international customer I would not be required to return the original item.
So, I am in a position where I will soon have two copies of the first two discs of the Apollo 12 DVD set. Obviously I don't need them, but the stuff on these discs is so amazing that I don't really want to throw them away.
So, I am offering them free of charge to anyone within the UK who might want them. Visit the Spacecraft Films website (http://www.spacecraftfilms.com/apollo12d2.html) to see the contents of these discs. Briefly they include everything from pre-flight training through launch and up to about halfway through the second EVA (EVAs are reconstructed in the absence of televsion footage). Send me a PM with your address and I'll send them off as soon as my replacement copies arrive.
If I don't hear from any interested UK parties then I will consider sending them further afield.
If you've never seen the Spacecraft Films DVDs I can't recommend them highly enough. They are absolutely the best source for untouched, beautifully restored archive footage of the missions.

Sorry RAF, I'm trying to keep the cost of postage down.
To everyone else, sorry, they have now been claimed.
