I amuse myself by making 3-D models of things at times. I recently tried to make one of the Saturn V, but ran into problems since there aren't any good sources that include the actual measurements. (Being nitpicky, I'd like to have it as exact as possible) I found such files on the Launch Umbilicals Tower; for some areas there were exact manufacturing blueprints down to a fraction of an inch, parts lists and so forth. I assume there are more of them around, but I'm not sure where to find them. Anyway, what I was really looking for were similar blueprints for the Saturn V, the Apollo CSM itself and (to a lesser degree) the LM. I have already looked at the info at www.apollo-saturn.com/ and I also have David Weeks' rough schematics, but both those sources are distinctly second-hand. Is there any way of finding this info without going to the Library of Congress microfilm archives? Or going for a stroll with a tape measure?
