Pity huh.
Actually with Piper leaving, Margamatrix getting himself banned and Moon Man, foxx and Turbonium all seeming to have gone MIA, it's rather quiet here.

Turbonium is still around but with his "would you go to the moon" poll it almost looks like we have converted him.

What did Margamatix do to get banned? I went through his recent posts and didn't find anyting that warrented that. Moon Man on the other hand was much more of a pain in the butt. Pity huh. The decisive post (with pictures of a dead man in the electric chair) was removed pretty quickly

The reason you won't find anything is because it was removed. As I understand it, Margamatix posted some rather nasty pictures of a guy getting electrocuted.

The decisive post (with pictures of a dead man in the electric chair) was removed pretty quickly Why on Earth [or the Moon] did he post those? What thread was it on? What was the context? Might not a suspension have be more appropriate? As some one else said this forum is less interesting without the dissenting voices. He seems to have been behaving himself recently. Len

Why on Earth [or the Moon] did he post those? Shock value, most likely so he could get some attention. And we are talking about him again, so it has partially worked.

Could be that he honestly thought people wouldn't be offended. It would be in line with some of his other mental guffaws.
The pics were in the death penalty thread I think.

Check the Banned Users thread in the Announcements section.
Margamatix posted photos of a man who'd been executed in an electric chair. Admin banned him because publishing the photos breaches the policy of the people who own the board, and they could have shut the board down. Marga could simply have provided a link and a warning, but did neither. He used them as the basis of starting a discussion about execution, but I think he was simply trying to be provocative. That's why I started a separate thread about the death penalty.

Turbonium is still around but with his "would you go to the moon" poll it almost looks like we have converted him. HA! Sorry to disappoint, but I remain unconverted, despite being exposed to the massive psychological and physical trauma, sensory deprivation and non-stop group chants of "Apollo was real! Man walked on the Moon!" But I still like to think of being able to make dreams into reality, no matter what one's views on Apollo are, which is the main reason I began my thread poll.
