Not unless the sprinklers were damaged, firefighters were unable to access the floors promptly, and the fire-retardant cladding on the steel was somehow omitted on those floors.

Yes, of course they can, and they are taught at BYU (as far as I know - I went to the University of Utah).
I think our little debate in the Beyond Belief section has given Bill a new obsession that he'll work into as many other threads as he can - Anti-Mormonism. He already made it the first item in his "April 1st" thread.

That is right, I am obcessed with bringing down the evil cult of Mormonism.
I think If they taught spelling at BYU, I should have gone there. Naw, I just need a supersized keyboard to go with my giant Pelloponesian hands. Hostory. I wonder if that could have been a freudian slip. The History of Ho-downs and other works of art from the old west and south.
If you have not gone there, how do you know that human origins, evloution, geneology, history, physics, quantum mechanics, or logic are taught there? I suspect they are not. At least they are not taught very well. I have heard that darwinian evolution is not taught there.

That is right, I am obcessed with bringing down the evil cult of Mormonism. Bill, I'm really getting tired of asking you to be polite. Go read the rules and pay special attention to Rule #1: Also read Rule #8: Maybe no one ever taught you that if you have nothing nice to say you should say nothing at all. Discussions about religion are ok, and disagreeing about religion is to be expected, but DO NOT make insulting comments about another person's religion. I don't care how silly their religion seems to you, it is something that is important to them and I will not tolerate you insulting them over it.

Yes, all of those subjects are taught at BYU. You can view their catalog here saas.byu.edu/catalog/Perhaps you should take some time to read it and do some research before making blanket statements that are untrue. Nor is Mormonism a cult. That is another thing you should research before making blanket statements.

Whether or not Mormonism is a cult has a long and often contentious thread dedicated to it in the "Beyond Belief" section of the forum.

Nor is Mormonism a cult. That is another thing you should research before making blanket statements. Well it can be "cultish" at the fringes...BUT virtually every other religion in the world can be as well. To the best of my knowledge, every major denomination has their extremists. It looks to me that Mormons have become the "New Jews" for many whack-job extreme right Christian sects (who definitely are cults if they buy into and propagate this nonsense).
