So again, why, after seeing the suspicious vehicle with armed men trolling the neighborhood, did he go to the store and leave his family alone in the house??? You can ask him directly. www.bollyn.com/index/?id=10381Email is down the page Christopher@bollyn.com I dont know. The trial was on May 31.

"With just a week to go before my jury trial, I need to raise about $1500 to cover the remaining fees for my defense counsel..." Can anyone else smell a scam? Anyone who donates to him based on his word alone... well, a popular idiom about fools and money comes to mind. Not to mention that, in the US, anyone the court considers indigent is provided with a court-appointed attorney. If it's only $1500 he can't raise, surely that counts as indigent when he can't.

He said $1500 is to cover the remaining fees for his defense counsel , private investigator, and expert witness .So, the total amount is probably more than $1500. Just a guess. www.bollyn.com/index/?id=10381Note than the trial was scheduled to begin on Thursday, May 31st, edited to add I find something about an -earlier- procedure in which he have a court-appointed attorney. Scroll down to SMEETON'S TREACHERY excerpts "Smeeton did absolutely nothing except protect the police and the state. I have filed a complaint with the ARDC, a disciplinary board for attorneys in Illinois – but I will probably have to go further. Smeeton's treachery and sabotage of my case has seriously jeopardized my defense." iamthewitness.com/Bollyn-Video-Evidence-Destroyed.html

Feelfree, I find it very strange that in the thread title you call a Nazi apologist with a record of filing distorted stories a "truthter". Anyone else would choose a different word. Here's a piece on Bollyn and his right-wing associations from the "Truther" site 911 Review.

For years his critic have said his reporting was dishonest recently his Nazi bosses said the same thing. He used to be a star in the truth movement quoted by Fetzer, the Joneses (Alex and Steve) and the makers of Loose Change. Now no one except for two of his friends (Smith and Hufshnidt) want to have anything to do with him or give him money. Not even Smith or Hufshnidt wrote articles on his behalf but only allowed him to post stories onthe site they run together (iamthewitness.com). You got to ask yourself why. As to him not having considered the possibility the cop picked up on his wife's accent, what ever else he says happed that afternoon shows him to be paranoid. Another odd thing is if his story were true why isn't he suing the city. He also claims the dashboard cameras of the cop cars should have recorded the incident. I think that unlikely since presumably the cars were parked parallel to the curb. He said nothing about any PATROL cars pulling into his driveway but said the unmarked car of the SWAT types blocked it. I doubt such a car would have a dash cam.

I maybe would have chosen the word "scumbag". Calling him a journalist seems like a bit of a stretch.

I maybe would have chosen the word "scumbag". Calling him a journalist seems like a bit of a stretch. Hey hey, you're an admin. Be a good example. At least feelfree222 took the effort to edit 'truther' out of the thread title. That's worthy noting.

It's a nazi we're talking about... if anything, calling him a "scumbag" is being too kind.

Probably, but at least the term "truther" has been changed into something less untrue.

The word I had in mind instead of truther was rather more directly connected to his proven record of fabricating his stories.

I'm sorry LunarOrbit, I interpreted as you saying feelfree222 should change the thread title to scumbag. I thought this change was positive enough, especially since feelfree222 is one of them.
The last part was intended jokingly.

My personal favorite is "waste of CHON", it perfectly expresses his true value and doesn't compare him to anything that will be insulted by the comparison (which is pretty much anything).

It's a nazi we're talking about... if anything, calling him a "scumbag" is being too kind. I did not know this guy (Bollyn) was so despicable and pro -nazi from the two links i have posted. So he deserve what happened to him.(if true) Edited for precision.
