Yes. As we've moved on from JFK.
Oh, wait . . . .

I was going to say "Let's move on to the Apollo Hoax", but something about that sentence just didn't feel right. Can't put my finger on it though. ;D

Jay and the Dalai Lama, I think ...
I can prove my whereabouts on the night she died. Not sure about His Holiness...

Finally. Can we move on now? We can. Mr Fayed cannot. The news stories here are full of it.

Why would anyone want to assasinate someone who almost became a political figurehead anyway? Was Diana in the way of some nefarious plot?

Why would anyone want to assasinate someone who almost became a political figurehead anyway? Was Diana in the way of some nefarious plot? Well in Bizzaro world it was to prevent the King of England being a muslim, though exactly how any kid of Diana and a new husband could have a claim on the throne anyways has never actually been explained since the line of succession goes through Prince Charles to Prince William, then Prince Harry, then Prince Andrew, then Princess Beatrice (Andrew's Daughter), then Princess Eugenie, then Prince Edward, then Prince James (Edward's son), then Princess Louise, then Princess Anne, then Peter Phillips and Zara Phillips. Even assuming that they all got wiped out by an exploding Christmas turkey, the next would be David Armstrong-Jones, the Princess Margaret's (The Queen's sister) son. In fact, in a list of 1391 people in the British succesion, Diana's brother (Charles Spencer, the 6th Earl of Spencer) does not appear. Since his children would be before her's (i.e. her's had after the divorce), that means that any child of Diana's would have been well over 1400th on the list (considering that she had two older sisters who also have children....) so if by some stretch of the imagination she really was pregnant to Dodi (which she wasn't and all accounts are that they weren't even that far into a relationship since she was in love with someone else and was using Dodi to make that personn jealous) then the kid would have had less chance of becoming king than a snow flake does of surviving on molten lava. The whole thing is really loony.

Who would arrange an assassination by car crash in the middle of a busy city?
Too many variables, what if they had their seat belts on? what if they had gone a different way? what if they hadn't gone so fast?
etc etc etc

What if the driver hadn't been drinking so there would be a plausible fall guy.

Too many variables, what if they had their seat belts on? what if they had gone a different way? what if they hadn't gone so fast? etc etc etc What if they had missed the pillar or glanced off the side rather than hitting right on the corner, which negated the effect of the car's crumple zones and producing the maximum possible impact on the occupants. However you slice it, this being part of a deliberate plot to kill Diana makes no sense.

Mohammed Al-Fayed is funding a new documentary about this. entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/film/cannes/article3953867.eceFrom the article: The inquests into the deaths of Diana and Fayed's son Dodi concluded last month with verdicts that there was no attempt to murder them. Despite his earlier conspiracy theories, Fayed said afterwards that he accepted the verdict, but the new film depicts the inquest as a fix. He's definitely not putting this behind him any time soon.
