According to this link, the idea that UFOs are extraterrestial is losing support due to the availability of debunking information on the internet. Is there any evidence that anything similar is happening with the Apollo hoax?

I hope the moon landing hoax theory has already peaked, likely in the aftermath of the 2001 Fox program, and is now in decline, but I have no real data to suggest this is true. With so many hoax theory debunking sites around, I think it would be hard for a truly open-minded truth seeker to be bamboozled by the hoax theorists. Unfortunately there are many people who will believe the hoax theory because that is what they want to believe, but I suspect these hardcore believers are a small minority (at least I hope so).
All I can say for sure is that positive emails I get thanking me for my hoax debunking web site far outnumber the negative ones. I cherish the occasional email from a person who says my site cleared up their confusion and they are now convinced the landings were real. I am happy to report that I get more of these than the sporadic hate mail.

Interesting lol........
Douglas Kern is a known debunker and pseudo skeptic (also a lawyer)
I say pseudo skeptic, because a true skeptic would at least do some fundamental research, to back up his theory's on the UFO subject and his assumption that the subject has somehow died out.
He is completely UN-objective in his article, and cites the internet as the killer of the UFO subject.
His attitude is clear from the way he speaks -
He says-:
"And with the publication of Whitley Strieber's "Communion" in 1987, alien abduction moved from a freakish, nutty concern to a mainstream phenomenon"
Also -:
"But is there any validity to the UFO phenomenon? Perhaps, but so what? The need for weird is hard-coded into the human condition"
He simply does not believe, and therefore for him there is no possible chance of any of it being true, or even a partial truth.
He cannot formulate an objective opinion , or reason on the subject and therefore anyone who does is lacking from his viewpoint & framework of seeing the world.
He quotes the old weather balloon theory about Roswell, which is even more crazy than the idea of UFO crash. The US government has changed its story so much on the "cause" of Roswell, they have lost any credibility.
As stanton friedman, nuclear physicist , and the first person to investigate roswell says-:
"Do one's research by proclamation rather than investigation. It is much easier, and nobody will know the difference anyway."

I don't understand the relevance of your quote, in what way does it help anyone in coming closer to the truth?
Whats your position on the subject and what data do you base your opinion on.
Thank you
