I like the changes I'm seeing so far.

That's good to hear. I am worried that the brightness of the background will bother some people, but it's difficult to find the right balance between background colour and text colour.

It turns out the forum will let me set up only a certain amount of user choice... I can make the page colour scheme user selectable, but the banner image will always be based on the default that I choose. So, while you would be able to choose blue links the banner would still be orange.
I am still considering making the default theme blue instead of orange. I just can't decide so I'm sticking with orange for now.

I've started a poll. We'll let democracy decide.

The orange banner works well, but I've chosen the blue skin ;D

In Lebanon, the colours have very important significance. Peole ask each other: are you with the orange/yellow/green or with the blue/red/.. ? The first set of colors are the colors of the opposition , the March 8 bloc consisting of Hizbollah[yellow], Amal [green] and Free Patriotic Movement [orange]. The Blue is for the party of the Prime Minister, the red is for the PSPers and other government parties that form the March 14 bloc. We always make fun of this at work. So of course, I chose the blue or red or white, but stay away from yellow/green/and especially orange.

Well, you guys are all into colors now, but I found your forum when doing a search on the original subject of this thread, after a friend linked me to the guy's website. My compliments on your responses As a Christian myself, I take most "prophesies" with a bag or so of salt, but I gotta say the 13 on the Richter scale thing pretty much did it for me on this one. Yikes. Great forum!

Welcome chairmanmeow. You must have been dumbfounded by the colours posts! Yes, we meander a bit on threads, but most times are a wee bit more serious in our posts. ;D

The next President will not be named Hilary Clinton. This prediction of mine is looking better and better. At this point she might not even get the Democratic nomination.

She won't.
I've been actually following the races a bit, and it seems like the Democrats are starting to realize that Obama has a better chance of beating Cain than Hilary does.
Even if Hilary or Obama took all the remaining states, none will have a huge lead going into the Democratic National Convention. And at that point, the Democrats will have to be realiistic and drop Hilary. And that's my very uniformed opinion.

It's still too early to be absolutely certain - uh, except with my prophetic gifts, that is. We're still pretty far from the actual election.
It is kind of fun to watch Democrats that have had nothing but support for the Clintons up to now to start saying "I never liked those Clintons."
