Yes, I have the same problem (Firefox). I was planning to address the problem once I am finished with the section I am translating in these days (I finally restarted the translation).
Maybe the problem lies with the free server I am using. But before I move it, I want to settle down, which should happen only after the end of October.

Yes, I have the same problem (Firefox). I was planning to address the problem once I am finished with the section I am translating in these days (I finally restarted the translation). Maybe the problem lies with the free server I am using. But before I move it, I want to settle down, which should happen only after the end of October. The problem is, from my experience, is that it is best to leave translation to translators and the information technology and web design to others. Otherwise it will be a never-ending battle. The knowledge required to present a multi-lingual website is always growing and with each release of new browser updates and with a new display formats. Language too is always growing and changing. expressions and ways of saying something changes year to year and even month to month. The third ball to juggle is the fact that the web content itself is constantly changing. It is several arts. It is several sciences. And all are changing.

I fixed the problem for the first page.
Apparently MS Windows has a security weakness regarding jpg and gif images, which can be exploited by hackers. I would not be surprised that non-Windows could still display the images. I guess a security update since I uploaded the pages plugged the hole by stopping the images from being loaded. I followed the advice to convert the images to png, and it seems to work.
If anybody wants to try, remember to clear the cache of your browser beforehand.
