Here is my public message to a co-worker. This is intended to make a coworker join this forum.
Gravity and Magnetism are not the same thing. Sign up on the forums below and ask the physicists there if you want to discuss this with people who can explain this to you.
Gravity is the result of mass. Magnetism is not the result of mass. Magnetism is related to electric current too and gravity is not.
The Earth as a magnetic field because it has a heavy metal core. Mars does not have a magnetic field because it does not have a heavy metallic core.

He also thinks that the Apollo missions were a fake. I hope he signes up.
