I don't know. I just go to an internet cafe and start navigating. I never did learn about all this technical stuff. It's possible to navigate without knowing it. How do I find out which browser I use?
Possible but foolish at best, a basic understanding of the system you are using helps solve a lot of problems.
The fact that you are using an internet cafe may well be the source of your problem, its quite likely that they have configured their system not to accept cookies properly so your login won't stick. It also makes resolving the problem very difficult as the machines will be locked down so you can't change the settings (if the people who run it are even marginally competent anyway), my best suggestion would be to try a different one.

How do I find out which browser I use?
Take a look at the browser's title bar. How anyone gets by without at least that much computer knowledge in this day is a mystery. And really, if you can't figure that out then I don't know why we should trust your ability to determine the "truth" about Apollo or September 11th.
Grashtel may be right about the cybercafe blocking cookies. If that's the case then you're out of luck, there's nothing I can do about it.

There is absolutely nothing about individual threads that can change your login state. As far as the forum is concerned all threads (and all users) are the same.
The most likely cause is that your internet browser is bringing up a cached version of the page from before you were logged in. It is a problem on your end not with the forum, so it makes it extremely difficult for me to help you.
Clear your browser's cache (temporary internet files) and cookies, return to the main index of the forum, log in, and then try going to that thread.
