Strontium 90 has already been used as an assassination method by Russia.

How about lacing his food with Strontium 90? It is radioactive, and since strontium replaces calcium in bones, it would stay with him for a while. Sound idea. Contains more science than any other conspiracy theory I've seen. That isn't saying much, but I am glad my idea meets with such approval. Strontium 90 has already been used as an assassination method by Russia. Ooh, precedent, even better.

Strontium 90 has already been used as an assassination method by Russia. It has? You sure you aren't confusing it with Polonium?

You might be right - it may have been Polonium they used. I have heard of Russian citizens getting radiation poisoning from Strontium 90 though - they used it in reactors on automated lighthouses and some of them have been rather carelessly disposed

Strontium-90 was one of the causes of concern in the fallout after the Windscale fire in the 50s: a lot of the Cumbrian milk production was poured straight down the drains...
