Thanks for posting this GL! Forget about David C, this guy horror11 is an absolute hoot!! Man - I thought StrayDog was bad. I doubt this guy has read a book in his life let alone taken a science class! Saying that he has the IQ of a gerbil would be an insult to rodents around the world. I say DavidC (aka Cosmored) is paranoid beyond belief. I want to say that there's a psychological condition for his outlook, but I don't know any term. If you think DavidC is a hoot, how about that Peopleasylum person? What an angry little guy he must be. His responses are typical of the CT crowd when confronted with that which they cannot understand. JarrahWhite acted the same way toward JayUtah. Hmmm, seems I'm in good company. Paranoid schizophrenic. The thing I find especially funny is his constant referring to the "viewers" that can decide for themselves. I still remember the thread that was made for him here specifically asking for viewers to weigh in. He got a grand total of zero supporters. How long before he decides Youtube is owned and manipulated by the US governemnt because he doesn't get enough support on there?

Peopleasylum was kind of almost leaning towards the "starting to learn" point at one point in the discussion I had with him (see OP), but the next day... meh.

I am in the middle of an argument with michialstmark, who is convinced that NASA is the only source we Apollo Nutters have as proof of the moon landings. When I referred to the Soviets tracking and their own expertise on the moon and amateur astronomers watching urine dumps, he got all 'lolz you is bunch of sheep'-ish. I really hate it when they put up a video that is extremely inaccurate, then don't allow comments on it OR only allow comments after 'approval'.

To be fair, I only allow comments after approval on my journal. This is for several reasons. One, I've had spam. Two, I like to read and respond to any comment made. Three, I've had some genuinely offensive stuff--insulting of me, of various social and ethnic groups, etc.--posted, and I refuse to let that into my comments section.
However, I don't censor if you don't agree with me. I respond, but I don't censor.

That's quite a dust-up going on over there...some of the responses to the logical and detailed information being given are quite astounding.

Straydog continues to spread, what I'd like to call, his garbage on the thread I linked to.
If he was any denser, he'd be degenerate matter.

I wish he was a little denser, then he would be a black hole, and have no way of communicating with the outside world. And Apollo Nutters everywhere would have one less headache. Ugh!

As far as I'm concerned, all HPs are degenerates.

The rewards of 'missionary' work are often unappreciated by those that get their fingernails dirty and actually deal with the promoters of untruth, but it's not in vain. The work y'all do with promoting reality in a manner consistent with science/critical thinking in a non-sympathetic venue doesn't go unnoticed. Those potential lurkers that read your stuff, more often than not, realize the hokum for what it is even if they don't vocalize that. Keep up the good work...just don't be surprised if your adversaries continue to avoid critical thinking/common sense in their postings. Whether they believe their spiel or not, they need it to propagate their "fame" with those that don't know any better, which brings us back full circle to the lurkers. Thanks to y'all, the latter never really buy the malarkey for long.

I myself block users for a couple of weeks when they start making offensive comments, like namecalling or swearing in general. Usually they get a warning first and are then blocked.

I love the utter despair at the end of that comic.

Acknowledging that there is a problem is the first step to solving it.
