I can officially advise Festival as a good example of '60s music documentary. Gee, what a lineup!

That's a good one. And maybe Alfie too.

I can officially advise Festival as a good example of '60s music documentary. Gee, what a lineup! Unfortunately, it's only half as long as Woodstock, which means no performance or interview in it is quite long enough. Also, I've had "If I Had a Hammer" stuck in my head for a solid 24 hours.

Thanks for the warning - you know who won the Grammy for best album in 1964? Yep, Peter, Paul & Mary! I guess the Beatles came in second... And you should get some help - here's some: We are the the Village Green Preservation Society God save Donald Duck, vaudeville and variety We are the Desperate Dan Appreciation Society God save strawberry jam and all the different varieties

That's a good one. And maybe Alfie too. It does capture quite a lot. But the opener is superb and iconic I think. Music and car.

Monterey Pop definitely defines the Sixties. I didn't like either Petulia or Medium Cool, but they definitely count. Since somebody mentioned The President's Analyst (hilarious, as I recall), I'll throw in Dean Martin's godawful "Matt Helm" movies (which were so well-spoofed in Austin Powers).

I think Austin Powers movies were spoofs of Matt Helm and Our Man Flint movies which were spoofs of James Bond films.
