A few people here know that I went to New York at the begining of the month and that I have put my photos up on the net, though sort of like the Apollo Catalogues they were just numbers and without description. Well it took me about 10 hours, but I finally put my HTML skills to good use and created an online album with them in, along with many details about my trip and the photos themselves. For anyone that is interested and wasn't in the select few that knew about them early, and for those that did know and have looked, or attempted to look, at the old mess, feel free to browse through the album. It is found HereThe pages might be a little slow to load as it loads the actual images themselves not thumbnails. (Sorry I wasn't going to spend a few more hours doing that.)

A few people here know that I went to New York at the begining of the month Did you go underground to look for chinese soldiers? Well I have to admit the first time I got to the Times Square sub station I had no idea where I was going or what I was doing and ended up getting swept along in the crowd, which took me to the bus terminal and about 4 blocks from where I was actually wanting to be. The underground area there is huge, and you probably could hide an extra half a million people there without too much suspicion on behalf of the commuters. Of course if they were all wearing chinese army uniforms and carrying AK-47s, that might raise a few eyebrows.

Of course if they were all wearing chinese army uniforms and carrying AK-47s, that might raise a few eyebrows. If they were carrying AK-47s then they've been down there for some time. The current Chinese infantry weapon (since '95) is the QBZ-95, which doesn't look much at al like a AK-47.
