I'm working with a friend to capitalize a new space-related business, and our business plan doesn't have as its last step: "7. Beg Congress for bailout." Maybe we'll have better luck if we put that in.
Well, if you do get a bailout, Congress will appoint your very own "czar" to oversee your operations and offer design suggestions. Perhaps the same cost-cutting measures and efficiencies politicians brought to fruition in the East German Trabant may grace your product as well.
However...if you can scrape up $500,000 in capital, perhaps a better investment would be to buy the Senate seat that is on sale in my great State. You'll make a lot more money as a US Senator once you get the hang of arranging the kickbacks.
