Or Apollo 11's 1202 and 1201 alarm, which almost resulted in an abort. - Tom Stafford accidentally hitting the abort switch on Apollo 10
- Neil Armstrong accidentally breaking off the ascent engine arm switch on 11
- The worrisome trapped helium bubble on 11
- Al Bean fried 12's TV camera
- Apollo 16's SPS engine bell had a short connection and wouldn't gimbal properly in yaw - and the landing was therefore nearly scrubbed.
- Apollo 15's stack was struck by lightning several times - but nobody was on board and there was no significant damage.
- John Young's unwitting rant about orange juice and farts, anaware that he was on vox on 16
They're all little things off the top of my head: none of them showing undue heroism *13 could be seen in that light by HSBs) or helping to put Apollo in a better light, and helping to put nails in the coffins of the post-17 missions.

The list is actually quite extensive, there nearly wasn't a mission that didn't have something go wrong that would have resulted in an abort if it hadn't been fixed, or could easily have been fatal. 13 obviously was the worse, but...
7: SLA Panels on the Saturn IV Booster failed to open properly. Future missions used explosive bolts to remove them entirely to prevent this.
8: Crew got sick in flight. This flight was one of the most problem free flights.
9: LMP got sick, LM developed engine fluctuations during testing
10: LM/CSM stack was misaligned, LM nearly went into out of control spin during test ascent
11: Docking tunnel overpressure pushed them off course, 1202 and 1201 alarms, landing spot looked boulder covered.
12: Hit by Lightning cause data telemetry loss, LMP knocked out by DAC hitting him in the head on hard water landing.
13: Pogo issues, O2 tank sensor failure, O2 tank explosion.....
14: LM docking failures, LM abort switch failures, LM landing Radar failure
15: SPS Bank A Valves stuck in open position telling the computer the engine was firing continuously, One main landing parachutte failure.
16: CSM developed a oscillation in its secondary gyro system shortly after undocking the LM in Lunar orbit
17: CSM/LM Docking clamp failed to latch.
There were a number of more mundane things too, such as the TV Camera loss on 12, the broken Hassleblads on 12, the TV camera issues on 15, the broken LRV mudguard on 15, 16 and 17, the broken heatflow experiment on 16....

Even missions with Apollo hardware after the program itself had their share of problems. Skylab had real problems with its solar wings, for example.

And the American astronauts on the Apollo Soyuz Test Project were poisoned by nitrogen tetroxide during the re-entry.

And the American astronauts on the Apollo Soyuz Test Project were poisoned by nitrogen tetroxide during the re-entry. Mind you, Deke Slayton still reckoned it was worth it.
