I thought I might get around to doing an update on my website. Who knows I might even get around to doing more pages. For now though Return of the ProbesComments welcome.

Change "not" to "no" and expand the acronym the same way you've done for LOR further down. Otherwise it's good. No writer should fling acronyms around without explaining them adequately. It's what I call the know-all trap, sounds very snobbish ("I'm smarter than you 'cos I know what that means") and annoys readers if they don't know what you're talking about. A good glossary helps, but I think they should always be spelt out at least the first time, and again if there are long gaps in the text before using them again. Different web pages on the same site can create both "the first time" and long gaps. I'd like to see, sometime, side by side and cropped the same, the LRO photos and those taken from orbit at the time and showing the Apollo 15, 16 & 17 LMs. Additional evidence. And the 16mm still from the Apollo 17 ascent stage looking down at the descent stage, tracks and Alsep as it ascended might be even more. One other thing, few HBs are likely to know what a descent stage on the lunar surface looks like and I wouldn't put it past some to expect both stages, so an illustration might help. Anything would do, but I particularly like the .gif of the Apollo 15 ascent stage leaving, the descent stage sinking down and the landing probe moving up. At the ALSJ, I think, and possibly AS15-Animation4a.gif, but you might need permission to use it.
