Happy Thanksgiving you Laurel and Ginnie (and any other Canadians reading this). It's one of my favourite holidays... good food, spending time with family, and enjoying the outdoors before it gets too cold.

Do ya'll have a traditional feast menu on T-Day? Something like the turkey, cranberries and pumpkin pie in the US.

Do ya'll have a traditional feast menu on T-Day? Something like the turkey, cranberries and pumpkin pie in the US. My family does. Yesterday we had turkey, stuffing, gravy, roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes with cranberries, and brussel sprouts. Then we had French apple pie and pumpkin pie for dessert. Delicious!

Then we should celebrate the Canadian T-Day here as well.

Yesterday I had a traditional Newfoundland dinner and more for Thanksgiving...
Salt Beef & Cabbage, Peas pudding, mashed turnip, turkey and dressing, potatoes, carrots, corn, gravy, Oktoberfest sausage, chocolate marble cake and a poppyseed cake. It tasted really, really good!

The harvested gets underway here not because it gets cold but because the crops finally die from boredom and fall over.

Of course we don't have Thanksgiving here, not that we don't have things to be thankful for, but because everyday we give thanks for not being born in Australia.

PW, I know I shouldn't, but I'm telling ya anyway what through my head when I read that - "But isn't Phantomwolf... oh no, that right, he's..." Actually, I hear that Canadians and Australians are much alike... sort of.
