www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7TvXCu6PAkit's O.K. Nasralla showed videos of Israelsi filimng a martyr' house 8 years before they killed him, so the date of filming doesn't prove anything against.. I 'll leave this to Bellmar who asked HA to hand in their evidence I'm glad you see this "evidence" for what it is. If this is the best Nasrallah has then it's not good enough to implicate Israel. Nasrallah's words and actions are not consistent with Hezbollah innocence IMO. I've read that Saad al-Hariri has already told Nasrallah that he'd consider any proven Hezbollah involvement in his father's assassination as a product of undisciplined "renegades" of that party in an attempt to avoid confrontation. That doesn't exactly give me confidence that true justice will be served if an actual 'smoking gun' is produced and HA has gun residue on their hands.

That doesn't exactly give me confidence that true justice will be served if an actual 'smoking gun' is produced and HA has gun residue on their hands. Nasralla said that this is not conclusive proof but given. Hariri is justified Archer for trying to settle the problem. HA is large and charge and can destroy the country, and the Sunnis are too weak and don't know how to fight. The Hariris have their buisness and benefits in the country and HA can destroy them, besides, a civil war will erupt and no one is ready to face HA or to go through the agonies of the past again. Hariri is not convinced that Nasralla himself could be implicated. I am convinced that Imad Moughnieh is without the knowledge of Nasralla, again based on given and not conclusive proof. My given is that several assassinations for important Syrian officials took place in Syria and were followed by Moughnie's assassination. I hypothesize that this is to hide evidence that can make the tribunal reach Bashar el Assad. Now regarding the given provided, an interesting article by a journalist said that in this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=1w-ax0H1Ty8&feature=player_embedded#! at 9:50 min the camera shows a wheel and this is not consistent with Israeli MK or any of Israeli spy planes but with a Cessna plane. I don't know if anyone can comment on this

Harriri didn't have to kiss up to Nasrallah like he did. Hell, he didn't even wait to see what the tribunal ends up determining! Harriri should have said nothing and just let the tribunal chips fall where they may...if they actually do.
I understand that currently there is no viable counter to Hezbollah's dominance in your country but justifying appeasement never got anyone anywhere - just ask South Korea. I'm not advocating taking Hezbollah on right this minute, but your country has to decide whether just to defer to HA ad nauseum or come up with something to deal with them eventually. Jumping off-sides just to excuse a possible guilty party like Harriri did isn't how I'd handle it.
Edited to add re: Cessna --
One doesn't have to use an "official" spy plane to conduct surveillance. In fact it's probably better if you use something as innocent as a Cessna if you can get away with it. That doesn't mean it has to be Israeli though - it could be anyone's plane.

Hariri will sepak on Saturday. The thing you are speaking about that Hariri told Nasralla this and that was claimed by Nasralla. Nasralla said that Hariri told him the tribunal will accuse HA and I am ready to say that no HA official is involvd was later denied by Hariri, but I don't recall if he denied it all or he just said that he said there is a trend or talk towards HA indictment.
Anyways, Assafir, a Pro-HA newspaper said that Hariri said that it is very important what Nasralla presented and that if Israel doesn'r respond to Bellmar it will turn wrt him from accused to indicted, something which the Future bloc MP Ammar Houri denied clearly and said that the idea of the future bloc is the statement it gave [the statement said that any proof should eb given to Bellmar and the tribunal is the only institution that can investigate]. The MP added that Hariri will sepak on Saturday. Of course he will have something to say about the topic.

A for the Cessna, I wonder if Israel would use a Cessna plane for spying. They use planes liek MK. Another thing the journalist said ws that the road to Fakra filmed is in 2008, 3 years after the crime because the road is one way now, as filmed, and prior it used to be two ways. The journalist spoke about many other things.. now I was reading that HA said it took knowledge about the request of Bellmar to hand in their 'evidence' Some analysis says that in light of the KSA-Syria agreement, HA can no longer create another May 7 events, as it lost its Syrian cover, with the Syrians and Saudis now wanting to protect the government of Hariri, and this is wht nasralla doesn't feel comfortable. here is their MP's statemen www.naharnet.com/domino/tn/NewsDesk.nsf/getstory?openform&54162723B277C21DC225777E00197E7F

Regarding what Hezbollah has called "evidence" about Israeli involvement, what I've seen so far is not good enough to put the 'smoking gun' in Israel's hand even if it turns out this footage is from an Israeli recon flight. Evidence placing Israeli operatives at the scene of the crime when the crime was committed is what is required. One thing to keep in mind - Israel has, IIRC, about a half-dozen or so recon satellites so they wouldn't necessarily have to employ planes or drones to gather intel. The days and weeks ahead should be interesting for your country lionking. I hope there is a satisfactory outcome for you and yours.

Hariri refused to comment now on this topic www.naharnet.com/domino/tn/NewsDesk.nsf/getstory?openform&2F440F07F44DACE0C225777F006CFBDDNasralla said that there was a HA network at the crime scene following up on an Israeli spy, and if there is serious work he will reveal more info. Now Bellmare said in his last report some months ago thta he has proof that the network that killed Hariri watched over him, remained functional after his assassination, and part of it at least took part in otehr assassinations. This means that either Nasralla is lying or it is not the same network that the two men are speaking about.

www.naharnet.com/domino/tn/NewsDesk.nsf/getstory?openform&0C4A87DA38FA827FC2257785001E2E15Hariri says he'll stick to truth and justice calmly. the head of his bloc, former PM Fouad Sanioura, said that we will agree with the decisions of the tribunal and can't change our minds on each sun rise. I think when the decision comes, Hariri will say he will stick to it and try to figure out a diplomatic way with Syria too persure HA to give in the accused.

American Official: Evidence Implicating Hizbullah in Hariri Assassination May Emerge within Days Highly sensitive articles on the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri are expected to be published in American newspapers within the next few days, said a media sources to the Kuwaiti al-Rai newspaper. It also added that only three individuals in the U.S. administration are following up on the issue of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon and matters related to it. It reported one of the officials as saying: "Damning evidence that demonstrates Hizbullah's involvement in the assassination may appear in the upcoming days." www.naharnet.com/domino/tn/Ne...257786002A3BE1archer don't you think that it is not wise to stat ethis in public if america knows any info? HA would say that it is a plan against them and everything is political..

...archer don't you think that it is not wise to stat ethis in public if america knows any info? HA would say that it is a plan against them and everything is political.. My browser was giving me 'malware' warnings on that link of yours for some reason but I managed to read the Kuwaiti article via google. I'm skeptical as to the story's accuracy, we'll see shortly... If true then it's definitely not wise. Not so much because HA will spin it, Hezbollah already is denouncing the Special Tribunal for Lebanon as a US/Israeli sham, it's because such "evidence" is either something the STL doesn't have, and should, or it's just an attempt to give the US media a "scoop." Either way it undermines the STL. If this actually happens as al-Rai has it then this'll be the second major US gaffe with regard to Lebanon in the last few weeks IMO. (The first was the US arms sale to your country that was blocked by the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee).

www.naharnet.com/domino/tn/NewsDesk.nsf/getstory?openform&B5621434B859714DC2257789005E6742Nasralla didn't comment on this request yesterday directly but said he is 'unconcerned' with the STL and would later say his reasons...I depend on Bellmar's wisdom to remove HA's justifications and not do any incomplete step himslef too. I think HA will hand in the rest of the soc called evidence eventually in order not to put itslef in a bad position.. meanwhile, the American information didn't appear regarding HA's involvement yesterday clashes took place next to my house between HA and al ahbash. it is being said that it is something personal. 4 people were dead, including 3 HA members of which one is an official. I could hear the RPG and the guns throughout the clashes until the army came. Al Ahbash are syria's agents as well, so some newspapers are saying that it is maybe a Syrian message to HA

www.nowlebanon.com/NewsArticleDetails.aspx?ID=198004Bellmare: No indictment in September it was a nice interview, but it seems we'll have to wait a lot. he says that not even the draft of the indictment is written, thus answering both Hasan Nasralla and Ashkinazi who botyh said that the decision will be in September, particularly nasralla who said that the indictment has been written up since long time ago and it will be revealed in december.

www.cbc.ca/world/story/2010/11/19/f-rfa-macdonald-lebanon-hariri.htmlI think this is the most detailed report about what supposedly happened and how the phonecalls were uncovered. Syria and KSA as well as everyone are dealing already as if the belmare report of conviction came out and accuses Hizbollah network. HA is sure the report will name that group. It was the Der Spiegel report that first named HA and said it had leaked documents that t is sure about. Now this report comes out from CBC. I think this report is credible.. it is Imad Mughniyeh 's network in HA. I don't know if Nasralla knew about it , or knew later but can't do anything except defend HA's reputation. The surprize is that Wissam AL hASSAN WHO WAS INVOLVED IN PROTECTING hARIRI AT THAT TIME IS SUSPECT. He is still high ranking in the police until now. If any Syrian intelligence person will be identified, Syria will kill him like it supposedly killed Moughnieh to get rid of the evidence leading to Syrian officials, or the Syrian General Ghazi Kenaan, who has already 'committed suicide' will be found guilty. So the story is that the countries fought over the head of HA and the decision of the government of lebanon. Hariri was killed becasue the decision of the government will be out of syria. now they got the decision of the government of lebanon back, and they sold HA's head. this was the big agreement they made.

guys anyone knows anything about circumstancial evidence and whether it is enough to incriminate someone or not?

Circumstantial evidence can be suitable for an accusation, indictment or even a conviction of a crime. It really depends on the strength of the evidence.
