I reviewed Spartacus for my journal not long ago, and my title was "But Really, Who Isn't Spartacus?"

I apologize for that. I have removed the original post and replaced it with a link to your blog. Thanks for doing that. I'm sorry you and your forum have been dragged into this case of Internet sillyness. I've posted a comment on the linked article identifying myself beyond doubt as the real Ben Emlyn-Jones, hagbardceline on this forum.

I don't know what you mean by "whatever". I consider this to be a very serious matter. Sorry, I didn't mean for that to seem dismissive. Yes, it is serious that someone is plagiarizing and impersonating you. However there's little I can do about that beyond acknowledging that you've made us aware of the infringement; we now know to be appropriately suspicious. From my perspective the content of the article is what matters, regardless of its source. As author of the article I'm obviously concerned by both . But, no worries; I wasn't blaming anyone except the individual who did it.

I'm glad thats all sorted. Now, Hadbardceline (for it is he) Please can you explain the LRO photos. Don't bother trying to link to Jarrah Whites ridiculous attempt. Lets hear your explanation. I've not actually looked at Jarrah White's explanation, I won't link it if I agree that his attempt is as "ridiculous" as you say it is. As for the LRO photoes; what's there to explain? They show photoes of objects on the lunar surface that resemble the Apollo hardware that, it is claimed, was left on the moon after the astronauts launched off it. I'm fairly sure that there's currently no reason to suspect that those photoes are fake in any way... But they're awfully distant. Can we be sure they really are LM decent stages etc?

Ive had a quick scoot round Hagbard Celines blogs and noticed he also has a forum. On that forum he has boasted about coming here with that article and wanting to take on people like Svector and Jay Windley. I think he came in all guns blazing and was slapped down by the responses. People are mocking him on his forum for it so i think he invented this story of it not being him to save face. May be Hagbard Celine wanted to try his luck before posting about coming here and one of his members beat him to the punch. That is not the case. There's no other reply I can give you because it's impossible to prove your theory wrong; you can't prove a negative, as Skepmeisters love to say! ;D The "hagabrd" account was probably the member on the HPANWO Forum currently called "Stumpted". You can believe me if you like. If you choose not to I'm not going to waste my breath trying to convince you otherwise.

Six LM descent stage-sized objects at the exact Apollo landing sites? Objects that visibly have four footpads? What else do you think they could be?

But they're awfully distant.Compared to what? Are they suspiciously distant, given the published characteristics of the camera? I'm fairly sure that there's currently no reason to suspect that those photoes are fake in any way... Can we be sure they really are LM decent stages etc? As opposed to, say, a rock or a crater? I don't understand your doubt. Objects resembling the Apollo hardware and the footpaths of astronauts were photographed where those objects were expected to be found. What's the issue? You either have reasonable doubt or you don't. Which is it?

BTW, is it true that Jarrah White is Jim Collier's son? He's carrying on in his dad's footsteps! I highly doubt it, since Jarrah is Australian and Collier was American. Jarrah apparently considers himself the ideological heir of some of the key hoax authors, but I doubt there is any biological or familial connection. Nor would it matter at all to me if there were. Personally I find it fruitless to speculate. Jarrah's parentage is none of anyone's business. His education, training, and experience might be material however, since he seems to rely considerably on his own skill.

Harbard,
Re the LRO photos
"What is there to explain?" Plenty.
Explain what do you think they are? Do you think they are natural objects like rocks?
Explain how these six objects, including footprint trails, ALSEP eqt and rover are all seen in exactly the position they were expected to be. Coincidence? Fakery?
Explain how the Japanese terrain camera reproduction of the Apollo 15 (or 16 I can't remember) terrain, including mountains, was made? Have those naughty Japanese faked these also?
While you are at it - please explain how the laser retroreflectors also got located in the same positions.
