For that matter, if it isn't considered "bandwidth theft" to inline-post images from Google's thumbnail cache [determination, LO?] It is something to keep in mind. Some web site owners don't care, but it can cost them money if their site's bandwidth limit is exceeded. There is also the matter of copyrights. Linking to NASA images hosted on their servers is okay because they are public domain and they can afford the bandwidth (or at least I think they can...). Privately owned websites are another matter, so when in doubt use a text link rather than posting the image directly into the forum.
