Most people think Alaska and Hawaii are the only two places not landlocked with the lower 48. There is a third location. Can anyone name it..? It's not keywest or some island off the coast, such as Catalina Island. Give up or dod you need a hint? It's east of North Dakota and west of Michigan. North of South Dakota.

That's very true in Canada. We use both British and America English, and we throw in some Newfie English, too.

Why do we say goose when we talk about only one bird and we say geese when we talk about more than one bird..?
When we talk about one moose we say moose but when we speak about more than one moose we do not say meese; we still say moose. For instance; I saw a moose; I saw 6 moose. I saw a goose; I saw 6 geese.

What's that got to do with Australia winning the Ashes back from England? Maybe it's time to move this thread to general discussion. This may be true, I'm not ceratin but it's not the piece of land I'm referring too.

Lik e it or not, America would be in serious trouble without Canada.
Many countries would love to burn down the white house but only one country has been successful in doin so, and they did it on their first attempt.
Canada!

All Canadians should be your hero. Our fathers and grandfathers freed your country. Thats why you still put fresh flowers daily on our monument.

Greg Lauren took the pic. He was in the arctic doing talks on the effects of global warming in the North. He's the nephew of renowned fashion designer Ralph Lauren

Bob is on TV quite often. Besides myself Bob is Canada's space guru.
The Santa Claus reindeer hoax is real. Make deer lose their antlers before Christmas. Do your homework, homegirl.

I can prove I'm Cluas, just leave out a cold Canadian and it will be empty when you wake up Monday morning. So, I should leave out someone who lives in Saskatoon? Besides, why can't you spell your own name right? It was the day before Christmas, you know, pa "rum" pa pa "rum" The real hoax with Christmas isn't santa, its with Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer. They claim Rudolph is a male, this is a hoax. Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer had a very shiny nose. And if you ever saw him, you would even say it glows. All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names. They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games. Then one foggy Christmas Eve Santa came to say: "Rudolph with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?" Then all the reindeer loved him as they shouted out with glee, Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, you'll go down in history! Male Reindeer lose their antlers the first week of December and on Christmas Eve the lead Reindeer, allegedly Rudolph still has antlers. Thus the lead Reindeer was a female.
