I think supermeerkat is referring to the fact there seems to be something growing out of the back of Buzz's head.

Things too quiet around here? Someone couldn't resist poking them with a stick That seems to be one of the biggest hurdles. How does one debate issues of science when the other party has less knowledge in the subject than the average muskrat? "The moon is was in the sky during low tide! I've been lied to!!!" Dear lord!! If I ever get that paranoid and dense, I hope someone pumps a 9mm slug into my cranium and puts me out of my misery.
It's not even wrong to wonder how it can be that the tide is low even though the Moon is up in the sky - it does display a basic understanding of tides being related to the Moon's gravity. Leaping to conclusions of conspiracies and faux science based on this observation is very rash, though.

It was just an announcement at the top. It caught my attention because Adblock usually suppresses ads above the forum, but this one showed up. It only made sense to the sleepy and coffee deprived among us, but was appreciated nonetheless for the attempt at humor. Same here; it caught my eye because it shouldn't have been there.

Oh Ginnie, I would love to spend my spare time on it but I really don't want to sacrifice time I should spend on my education. Also, I am quite sure that once I start working on this in my spare time, the amount of "spare time" I have suddenly grows exponentially coinciding with a strong decline of my grades.

As I understand, most of Apollo's landing sites were chosen based on images of the area made by other missions orbiting the Moon. Has anyone ever tried comparing the LRO pictures of the landing sites to these photographs of the (undisturbed) landing sites to see what the difference would be?

Amazing stuff, especially since these images come from 1973. I'm disagree with your assessment that the master thesis is from 1971. The front page says "May 1973", and some of the references are from after 1971. Apart from that, an excellent find.

Ooh, I was wondering whether you had an account on any Apollo Conspiracy-related forums other than the DI forums. Welcome.

For some reason Gillianren, I already have you down as the person who enjoys/appreciates Python more than anybody on this forum. That is a compliment by the way. Implying that enjoying Monty Python could in any situation be regarded as a bad thing...

I had seen him before (he does have quite the extravagant appearence), but never watched anything done by him. I really liked this stuff.

It also looks like that part of surface is angled differently; it might be inclined in a way it reflects more of the sunlight.
