An Italian blog came up with a question about the design process of the Saturn V. Was the computer Olivetti ELEA 9003 employed during the design of the rocket?

Interesting.
If you don't mind, i would like to try it for ClaviusItalia, once I managed to update it.
However, I seem to remember that I could not get CSS 2.0 to work with Internet Explorer.

For my site, it was a no-brainer to convert to css because I was still working on the look (and still am) and it makes it easier to change things. In fact, I wrote my latest template (the one modelled on Clavius) specifically to allow the most control possible from the stylesheet. I used CSS from the start, because that's what I learned in my very brief introdution to HTML at the university. Why should I randomly offer this, you ask? It took me ages to find it out because it is buried randomly in the tutorial. It was annoying because when I was converting the site, there were some pages I couldn't do completely because I was still looking for it. That's why I use a quick reference sheet.

I fixed the problem for the first page.
Apparently MS Windows has a security weakness regarding jpg and gif images, which can be exploited by hackers. I would not be surprised that non-Windows could still display the images. I guess a security update since I uploaded the pages plugged the hole by stopping the images from being loaded. I followed the advice to convert the images to png, and it seems to work.
If anybody wants to try, remember to clear the cache of your browser beforehand.

Yes, I have the same problem (Firefox). I was planning to address the problem once I am finished with the section I am translating in these days (I finally restarted the translation).
Maybe the problem lies with the free server I am using. But before I move it, I want to settle down, which should happen only after the end of October.

Dear all. I completed the translation of the Conspiracy section. I uploaded the pages, but I am still working on the style sheet. So don't worry if the pages look weird. Enjoy!

Dear all. I finally had the time to prepare a handful of pages. You can find them here. Updates will follow as soon as I have a proper, broadband connection. Enjoy!

Either "geht's" or "geht es" (the first is the abbreviation of the last). That would be very nice It will be there the next time I update the site. (I don't have the umlaut on my keyboard...) Use the source, Luke HTML-Tags do work here. Ü Thanks for reminding me that we can use HTML code on the board.

I planted the seed for the Italian translation of Moon Base Clavius. You can find it here. The translation of the first page is not finished yet, but I would like to hear comments about the general appearance of the page. Different in style, but I like it I'd like to link to your translation when you've finished a couple of pages, but my Italian is a bit rusty (it's been 15 years since I last used it). Is this correct? "potete trovare la versione italiana qui" Yes, it is correct. I could update the link to the german site adding this: "Zur deutschen Uebersetzung gehts es hier." (I don't have the umlaut on my keyboard...)

well I've got my resolution set at 1024 x 768 and I have to scroll to see things, That's not a good start as a lot of people still use 800 x 600 Thanks. I updated the opening page.

I noticed a signature referring to the German translation of the Clavius website. Are there other translations out there? The German translation is the only one as far as I know. It is far from being finished as I'm doing it mostly on my own now. Ah yes, there is the signature! Is the translation hard work? What are the main problems? . . . . . . Alright, I confess! I started learning some HTML, and I was looking for something to use it for. I've seen that there are Italian HBs, and an Italian translation of Moonbase Clavius might be worth the effort. Though I admit that I do not particularly like the look of the website.
