How is it done? Don't laugh -- I'm an old fart (but at least I saw Sputnik 1 pass overhead and listened on the radio to the first lunar landing) and for 15 years I've had chronic fatigue syndrome, which has a habit of lowering my IQ about 100 points at times. It took me long enough to learn to handle urls properly and to graduate from JayUtah-type bolding to a single quote at the top, but multiple quotes from just one post, let alone from various posts, has me stumped. Because I'm not clever, I want to know how to fake it whenever possible. We is all igorant about sumpin.

Just break up the original message and reply as you would using the "Jay" method, but instead of surrounding them in B - /B tags, enclose them Quote - /Quote tags. For example: [quote]Some quoted text[/quote] Some reply text.
[quote]Some more quoted text[/quote] Some more reply text.
Looks like: --- Some reply text. Some more reply text. --- If you want the entire quote attribution (" On This date at That time, Somebody wrote:") instead of simply Quote:, copy/paste the entire opening quote tag (automatically generated when you reply to a message) in place of all opening quote tags. In this message, the tag looks like: And remember, the Preview button is your friend. 'Hope this helps.
