If anyone doubts that Spongebob is another reincarnation of Margamatix, just compare the following quotes. The first is by "ghost", another one of Margamatix's banned accounts: Utter nonsense, I posted the message in the general discussion thread in a debate as to whether electrocution causes pain, the images came from the Florida Supreme Court's own website. The photographs are in the public domain and the post did not come within a million miles of breaching ProBoard rules. If electrocution is "vulgar" or "obscene", then you would be better off taking it up with the State of Florida. Anybody wishing to view the images need only search Google Margamatix. The second quote is by Spongebob: I didn't see the images so I don't know where he got them from. But video of Saddam Hussein's execution is hosted by YouTube, Google and dozens of other sites. Anyone having even the most basic grasp of how to do a search could find these images in seconds. I have little doubt that the vast majority here have viewed them already. If GOOGLE are prepared to host these images, then it is a nonsense to suggest that a member should be banned for posting them on a forum which states "You can discuss almost anything here". In both cases he used the same "other sites think it's ok to show those images" and "anyone can easily find those images using Google" arguments. And both usernames have nearly identical IP addresses. But I guess we're to believe it's just a coincidence. I also fully expect Spongebob to argue that execution images don't constitute "vulgar" or "obscene" material, just like he did as "ghost" in the above quote.

One can find porn on Google. Does that mean we should post it here?

A valid point that will be totally ignored by Spongebob.

I'd also note that there is a Thread called Forum Rules as well, created way back in 2003. It says:
Some examples of banable behaviour are (but are not limited to):
1) Repeated insulting, rude, or offensive behaviour 2) Harassing other members of the forum, privately or publicly 3) Repeated or severe violations of the Proboards Terms of Service 4) Repeated Copyright violations 5) Posting offensive, obscene, illegal, or adult material 6) Invading another persons privacy 7) Trolling 8) Spamming 9) Repeatedly ignoring warnings from the moderator 10) Intentionally provoking the moderator
Seems to me that MM did all three of the bolded ones.

Well, actually, I just added those ten examples of banable behaviour last night. They were all implied in the rules before, but since Spongebob needed clarification I added some examples.

Spongebob's Sig on Saturday, 6 Jan 2007, posted for future reference: Now, about this Sig. Spongebob was "outed" as "margamatix" by the moderator. Margamatix was banned. Margamatix is flagrantly defying the ban by coming in under another name. Bad. Spongebob is only one of the names that I've personally confirmed as connected to the user. One other is "mitrabor." This means that the user formerly known as margamatix has at least two names registered on this forum. Bad. Spongebob, with the above Sig, is now claiming to be several other users, some of whom I've suspected and others I have not. Turbonium, for instance, seems intelligent, and I don't think the user known as Margamatix is capable of that level of discourse. If any of the above usernames are NOT the same user as "spongbob", that smears the reputation of those users. Bad. The Moderator of this forum can look at the IP address attached to the posts, and this clue is what led him to believe that Spongebob is Margamatix. The user known as Margamatix is also experienced with the world of proxys, from a previous hobby of dealing with the "nigerians." Thus, even having an IP from Thailand, Syria, or Texas does not exempt a user from MAYBE being a user in, say England. Also, the user known as Margamatix had work which took him to other parts of the UK regularly. There is every reason to belive that this user has names registered for use in other locations. This reminds me of people who hide their Liquor in the tea cabinet.

Spongebob was "outed" as "margamatix" by the moderator. Margamatix was banned. Margamatix is flagrantly defying the ban by coming in under another name. Bad. Yes, and here I am bending over backwards trying to be fair to Spongebob, despite his attempts to provoke me. The rules I have set for the forum specifically prohibit re-registering after being banned, and clearly state that it will result in another banishment for the new account(s). So why haven't I banned Spongebob? I'm not sure. I was aware of Mitrabor as well, despite his clever attempt at disguising himself as a female. Sometimes certain personality types really stand out, even in a text medium like an internet forum, and the nearly identical IP addresses certainly help confirm my suspicions. I doubt anyone was fooled, it would be pretty hard to mistake Margamatix for LionKing or Turbonium. I don't rely solely on IP addresses, they are just another piece of evidence which aren't very conclusive on their own. Margamatix/Spongebob just can't seem to prevent his true personality from shining through.

I don't eat cloves of garlic but I keep them in my kitchen to add flavor to food, unless it goes bad. Then I throw it out.

He appears to have been "elsewhere man" on the msn forum, someone so rude he was banned from most forums and had to set up his own where he could insult people with impunity.

Man, talk about a dude who apparently has one B-I-G chip on his shoulder. Curiously _none_ of my posts where ever acknowledged. Go figure? I must smell or something.

Well, you disproved his idea about us all being lowly technicians with no clue what we were talking about. Of course he ignored you.

He appears to have been "elsewhere man" on the msn forum, someone so rude he was banned from most forums and had to set up his own where he could insult people with impunity. So, he made his own forum just so he could pass on insults without being banned? How mature.

Well, he did admit on another forum that he was here purely to troll and flamebait. See below - he posted that a day or two ago - I decided not to inform LunarOrbit as it was obvious anyway that the troll was going to get himself banned. He has admitted he gets off on insulting people who believe Apollo happened, desparately trying to sound superior in the process. He even created his own moonhoax forum on MSN, which he admited was done specifically so he could insult people without fear of being banned. Banned off Unexplained Mysteries, and apparently getting that way on a photography forum (of all places!) as well. I think he collects "forum bans" as trophies. He admitted on his own forum that he had forgotten everything he learned about science at University, and that he wasn't remotely interested in Apollo. He has also admitted that he had to Google everything he knows about Apollo - odd since he revels in bashing others for doing the same. And a strange pastime for someone who pretends to have no interest in the subject! On the World of the Strange forum he continuously tried to provoke me into a response with his typically slimy behaviour - he pushed one button too far and sadly I responded. That's why I stayed out of the threads he was trolling on this site. He also falsely accused me of spamming his own site (at first he thought it was the CIA!) and subsequently banned me for someone else's actions. On here he called himself GreigDempsey (not his real name), on other boards he has called himself poundland, kilter, elsewhereman. Just thought everyone should know his real motives for posting on Apollo related sites - it is purely to insult people. If you wish to try and debate with him on his MSN thread then do so, but don't expect fair treatment for long. I notice he has started several new threads on his own forum, which had been dead since November. I strongly suspect part of the reason he came on here was to lure people back to his site. Feel free to post there - but just be aware of his motives, his admitted lack of interest in Apollo, and be prepared to be insulted with impunity by him. www.worldofthestrange.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=5600&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15
