Do you know what the true causes are? (Catastrophic hurricanes in this case.)
Hot water, and initially calm air above them.

I've heard some speculation that some might be created by hot air moving from the Sahara and over the hot water of the Alantic

"Cheer up!" they said, "It could be worse!" So I did, and it was.

Good luck clearing that lot up... On the bright side: it's set a new standard for your teenagers to live down to...

That's the most horrible damage I've ever seen. Are you going to try to rebuild?

I'm no meteorologist, but I've asked a retired meteorologist friend of mine to read and comment. Most particularly, though, I'm intrigued by the idea that two small aircraft could carry sufficient silver iodide to modify a hurricane. Given the amount of energy involved in a hurricane, I'd have thought more silver iodide would be needed.

Here's his response. My bolding:
"It was hypothesised that seeding one side of a hurricane with silver iodide could make the hurricane chnge direction. It has been tried once. The hurricane did change direction. Whether it was going to do so naturally or not is unknown. It resulted in horrendous law suits against the seeders and their employers from the town that was hit.
"Small scale modification of weather such as frost mitigation can be done and fog dispersal using fires was used in England in WWII to clear airfields. Cloud seeding itself is still experimental with no firm evidence that it works. In my opinion seeding a hurricane with silver iodide would be as effective as farting in a thunderstorm but perhaps it might have a small effect."

Proof LOL There is zero documentation for these claims. I could get some kook like Alex Jones to interview me and say I'm the Messiah* - it wouldn't prove a thing [except that you can find all sorts of nonsense on the internet] That's the problem with PCT types they believe anything they read as long as it fits their preconceived notions. Just because they see it on a CT website they think it must be true. Funny how they discount any contradictory info from people who know what they are talking about. *1st or 2nd coming depending on your religion

He was the Secretary of Defense. You'd think he'd know something about terrorism, be privy to insider information. He was a lawyer. He had absolutely no idea what he was talking about, when it came to whether such a thing made sense or not. Don't forget that the intelligence and defense communities have wasted tens of millions of dollars on idiocy like "remote viewing"; it's hardly surprising they would give some credence to idiocy like electromagnetic volcano triggers. . Cohen was a lawyer but "served on both the Senate Armed Services and Governmental Affairs Committees from 1979 to 1997 and was a member of the Senate Committee on Intelligence, 1983-91 and 1995-97" and when he made those statements had only been Sec. of D for a couple of months. The DoD spends millions a year trying to develop electromagnetic weapons. Cohen should have known what was and wasn't in the realm of possibility and as far as I can tell the DoD wasn't looking into stuff like triggering earthquakes or volcanoes. He did as Jay pointed only said that there were reports of people working on things like that, but the way he worded it made it sound like he thought such things were possible. He could have been just trying to wow his audience though. In any case it's bizarre that he made such a statement but it proves nothing.

The Stanford Research Institute [which has not been associated with the university since 1970] that the guy who claims the direction of hurricanes can be changed claims [without any evidence] supports his claims also backed remote viewing [ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_viewing ] seems like they'll back any far fetched idea as long as it gets them funding

Remote viewing is something I know a little about. It definitely goes on. Just because some government scientists are atheist or agnostic doesn't mean that they don't fall hook, line and sinker for the human potential lie. They're all for "spiritual" activities so long as it has nothing to do with the God of Israel.

Are you capable of remote viewing yourself? or have you personally witnessed a test that irrefutably proves that it does? If so explain. If not how can you be sure? I also believe in remote viewing. I can connect to a webcam anywhere in the World.

The US DoD has been spending huge sums to try and develop a sonic weapon too, just because someone has bright spark idea nd someone else is willing to fund it doesn't mean that it's possible to actually do it though.
