Liberals think politics is an art. Conservatives think politics is a science.
Politics is a science. Politics is not an art.
Just because our leaders do not make us feel good does not mean they are wrong.

Politics may become a science one day.
It is very much a black art now.

I guess that depends on who replaces him.

Assuming he doesn't repeal the 22nd amendment... He'd probably repeal the 21st Amendment by accident instead.

Hey, people didn't stop making fun of Nixon just because he left office.

Be nice. Mr. Nixon, or rather his head in a life-supporting bell jar, will be Earth president in a few hundred more years.
Yes, I do like Futurama.

Politics may become a science one day. It is very much a black art now. I do not know where this comment ranks on the serious meter (" metre"?) but officially the courses and the major offered at colleges and universities are in the field of "Political Science" not "Political Art"

This issue is not that we like or dislike Bush. The issue for me has been that I dislike Ayman al-Zawahiri and Osama bin Laden and John Kerry so very very much more.

I just dislike the lot, saves time.
meter ("metre"?)
I have no idea on the US spellings, but here "A Meter" is what you measure with and "A Metre" is what you measure.

If the whole system is so flawed what is there to debate since we are a part of the system. We are from different cultures so I do not know how people in the UK system see things. But I believe you have multiple parties rather than two who have been in an endless battle for 200 years.
By the way, I just noticed that Lazarusty is from NZ. It is rumored that they believe that the yanks invented crime and sin. So I wonder if I should consider the source in a discussion thread called "Heil Bush" started from down under.
