You know, there's at least one Dutch person over on BAUT who thinks you're full of it, David.

How do you know he's really from Holland? There are all kinds of disinfo agents on the internet trying to make Americans think that non-Americans think that the US is fighting for freedom and democracy in the world. If that's what he thinks, he ain't no Dutchman.
I live in Europe and Europeans are very informed about American imperialism in the third world. There's nothing more amusing here than a group of Americans discussing politics. What you are saying doesn't reflect reality. You must be one of those people trying to make Americans think that Europeans support US foreign policy. They don't.

David, you are merely providing evidence for my earlier remarks about how the average european is in fact very ill-informed about what America and Americans are really like. A careful viewing of your other posts to this forum should convince an objective observer of whether your observations more accurately reflects reality than their own.
Thank you for making my point for me.

I don't dispute that. What I'm talking about is what the US government does in the third world. As I said before, this site explains what most Americans aren't aware of and most Europeans are aware of. www.thirdworldtraveler.com/I'm not talking about what life is like in the US or what Americans are like. It sounds to me like you're tying to cloud the issue. Go into this search engine and enter "Death squads", or "Torture" and you'll see what I'm referring to. www.thirdworldtraveler.com/htdig/search.html
