I see that you have not comment the crux of the subject Yes I did - I busted a gut laughing about such a ridiculous claim. The funny thing is that there was no WMD's in Iraq . That means that the UN inspectors were right. As mentioned before the Iraq war "despite over 400 unfettered U.N inspections, there has been no evidence reported that Iraq has reconstituted its WMD program. "

You realise that the US get's most of it's oil from Canada, and that the Canadian Oil sands hold more oil that Saudi Arabian? The cost for exploiting Canada oil sand is disproportionate compared to import oil from Saudi Arabia.

And I hardly think that the Iraq trading it's minimal amount of oil in euros would serious effect the US economy. But the effect was not limited to Iraq the US feared other countries like Iran to follow Iraq decision to trade oil in Euro. See here why USA dont have interest to let this happening. www.gold-eagle.com/editorials_05/petrov011606pv.html

Israel below the US on the hateometer, I doubt it. The threat to the US hegemony is real yet that's all it is, a threat. That's why it's only part of the puzzle IMO what we're looking at is the westernization of the middle east as a long term goal. A few independent governments flexing their tiny oil dollar muscles against the west is like a skinny rich kid denying the existence of his lunch money while the school bully is holding him by the ankles over an unflushed dunny.
They're going into the crap regardless.

Israel below the US on the hateometer, I doubt it. You are correct. Israel probably does rate higher on the hate-o-meter, but Islamacists often combine the US and Israel in their hate speech anyway.

Yeah, look what happened when a Danish paper printed certain cartoons. What did they all scream?
"Death to Israel, Death to the USA!"
A German Pope makes a comment about Islam being violent....
"Death to Israel, Death to the USA!"
Yeah, some real rational thinking there. (Though I guess in CT world they were all being paid by the NWO and Bush to scream and yell death threats and burn the US flag and effigies of Bush.)

I just can't see the USA attacking Iran. Bush's group of "advisers" (I need not explain why I put that in quotes) had Iraq set in their sights years before the 2000 election, and they played the 9/11 hand they were dealt to further their own agenda to the hilt. I suspect we'd be ass deep in Iraq right now, 9/11 or not (though maybe it would kicked off even earlier) In any case, unless Iran nukes someone, he's not going to get a dime from Congress to pursue this much greater madness, let alone a resolution from congress (which frankly he couldn't do without, not in the present political climate). I'd have to think a war with Iran would be the last thing he wants right now (that said, obviously good planning and thinking hasn't been this administration's forte).

The Euro is rapidly becoming the international currency of choice, I don't think the US invading Iran would make any difference.
