One of them will win and one of them will lose...unless it's a draw! I'm pretty confident about this one.

You mean you had a 50% chance of being right and you chickened out?
What the heck, I don't even hardly know anything about rugby, but I'll predict a victory for the Canucks. And if I'm wrong I'll claim ignorance on the subject (which would be the truth). Also, they have beaten the Fijians before - once I believe. So it can happen again. At least they won't get shut out like some other teams .... ;D

Any predictions for the Rugby Final? I was watching some Rugby fights on YouTube. The NZ announcer said "Mayhem. Excellent mayhem", an good description of the action on the field. Too bad I never get to see rugby on TV here in Canada unless I subsribe to the Rugby Channel. They can fight almost as good as hockey players, Ever hear the expression, "I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out" ? EDIT: Oh, it seems the Canadians fight in Rugby too: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPCbuQxJr00&mode=related&search=Oh man, see this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DICdXTPYgpARugby vs. Soccer The only think that stops me from watching soccer is the diving. ONLY THING. I cannot get into a game with such sissies ;Dpretending to get hurt to get a penalty kick. If a hockey player dives, he'll be lucky if a penalty ever gets called again in his favour.

As a life-long soccer player and fan, I couldn't agree more about the diving. That's why I prefer to watch the English, German, and Dutch leagues, or the American MLS (go Toronto FC!) - there tends to be a lot less of it. The South American leagues are by far the worst.
I think FAs should institute post-match review and automatic three match bans for acts of simulation.
As a defender, there's nothing more frustrating than playing against strikers who dive. If the referee is buying it, there's not a bloody thing you can do about it, other than stand off them completely and let them get their shots in.
But I digress. Let's start predictions for 2008! I predict that it will be a leap year.

Well, England finally pulled their socks up and overpowered the Aussies: quite a turnaround from the lame display against the Springboks.
The big surprise is that they'll face France in the first semi, after les Bleus tackled the All Blacks to a standstill ;D
With South Africa playing Fiji, there will be at least one Southern Hemisphere team in the other semifinal. The way this World Cup is going, who would put money against the Final being a repeat performance of the opening match? (Although I'd prefer the Scots to beat Argentina ;D )

There could be problems on Octber 12th. This is not a spiritual-type prediction as such, but is based on the actual news. Iran has declared that they will give their final answer to their US concerning their nuclear activity on that date. That COULD mean a nuclear attack, or something else, or it may come to nothing.

Well, that about covers the whole range. Not much of a prediction, if you ask me.

That's a bold prediction--"something may happen." Now will you answer some of my past questions?

How about "why do you believe these people," for starters? You admit yourself that their predictions have never come true; why do you believe they ever will?
How about, "what do some of these even mean?" I've asked that about multiple "predictions" of yours. Or, to be pedantic, predictions that you have, for some reason, brought to our attention. How would we know if some of them came true? I've asked that multiple times, and you never answer. It's kind of tedious.

Why do you believe these people?I don't believe these people (any more) - in fact, I've come to the conclusion that nothing major will happen this year, in complete defiance of what they are saying. What do some of these even mean?Don't ask me - I'm just passing it on. How would we know if some of them came true?Depends how vague or specific the prediction is. A nuke attack on LA is pretty specific. As regards my last "prediction", it is not a prediction - it is speculation based on current news and has nothing to do with "spiritual" revelations or somesuch. It depends whether or not Iran will actually back up their words on Oct 12th and just what they meant by what they said. Some sort of nuclear "demonstration" in defiance of U.S. demands is quite a liklely scenario. And if it happens to be nuke strike on LA, that would fit in with an earlier "spiritual" prediction.

So what's the deal with the Chinese soldiers under New York? That was you, right? Do you still believe it?
