It's already happening, right now, before your very eyes! Open them! I believe a part of David Wilkerson's The Vision from 1973 is being fufilled before our very eyes as well concerning the economic crisis. ...The United states is going to "overreact" to the confused economic developments.
I see a flurry of near-panic decisions being made by various government agencies - but these hasty efforts to shore up the economy will backfire.
The President of the United States will make one, and possibly two, national radio and TV appearances to reassure the nation that all is well, and that the best of economic times is just ahead. It will not work. People will distrust these statements, and their fears will lead to a revolution at the polls...Bush is doing the very thing mentioned above. He is getting ready to make a special broadcast to assure the people that all is well. And he will not be believed. Near-panic decisions - such as the so-called bailout which will not fix anything. Something that has been in the back of my mind from years ago when I first read it, is that it would be close to an election. What else could "revolution at the polls" mean?

I've scanned the whole first chapter of "The Vision" which is about the economic crash. Remember, this was written in 1973.

Surely that's against the copyright laws.

I don't think David will mind. Since he feels it was freely given by God, the only one with the rihgt to quibblle about copyrights would be God and since God gives all things freely...

"Avoid going into debt." "Avoid piling up credit card bills." "Get a good reliable car and stick with it." Do you really need to be a prophet and have visions to give that kind of advice? Isn't it just common sense? My father would probably give the very same advice, only without the Apocalyptic overtones.

Some need to be told because they have a compulsion to buy that throws common sense out the window. I think that part was his own advice anyway rather than a "Thus says The Lord". It's the reality of the predictions I'm trying to emphasise here.
The world's economy will never be the same again. It will never fully recover from what is happening right now.

The LDS Church leadership has been giving the same advice since before this guy, without the Apocalyptic overtones.

Rusty, he made this "prediction" thirty-five years ago, and talked of "just a few years" (from 1973!) of prosperity before things went south. Your use of it is meaningless, as are all the other prophecies and predictions you quote. You're just cherry-picking the current economic events and post-fitting it to yet another vague set of claims. Such claims are bound to "come true" if you wait long enough; it's a statistical certainty that has nothing to do with any prophetic ability of the charlatans and lunatics you are so fond of quoting.
But my favorite is your insistence that there are still 100,000 Chinese troops living under New York City. What kind of retirement plan do they have, anyway? 'Cuz some of those guys must be getting up there by now.

They're waiting for when the time is ripe. They probably change/refresh their armies periodically like any army does. Some go home after their "tour of duty". It wouldn't be the same Chinese the whole time.

Wel that'd explain all the Junks the Liberty Island ferry had to dodge on the way out to the Island when I was on it the other day.

Well now, I've got a real doozy for you. Someone has claimed that somewhere between Oct 13th and Oct 23rd, just as in the book of Joshua, the sun will stop for 24 hours, though technically, I suppose it's really the Earth stops its rotation for 24 hours. On top of this, the sun will be completely blocked. This means, in effect, sudden darkness upon the whole Earth for 24 hours. I think this event is supposed to be orchestrated by God to get everyone's attention, so that they know there really is a God in the universe who controls things. No more room for atheism or agnosticism after this then. The man who predicted this, Michael Bodea, never gets dates - until now. However, he joked with others about the escape clause - he wasn't specifically given the year... ;D

I predict there will be a relationship on the ISS which will result in the first child being born in space. This will bring the world together like no other event in recent history.

You expect a woman to spend 9+ months on the ISS?
