Amazing stuff! I think I've seen most of those before, but life in the deeps still amazes me. To paraphrase Arthur C Clarke, "the deep seas are not only stranger than we imagine, they are stranger than we can imagine."

Wasn't "Disneyland under the sea" the ending of the film A.I.?

It's a Steven Spielberg completion of a Stanley Kubrick film - sort of a re-telling of Pinocchio. In brief, a robot kid gets thrown out when the real human he was replacing is cured of some kind of medical condition, and he tries to become a real boy by finding the Blue Fairy. What he finally finds is an amusement park statue of the Blue Fairy underwater (because global warming has raised sea levels and wiped out old cities). So - Disneyland underwater.

Yeah, but there was that horrible part near the end.I don't generally mind slow methodical films, but the last 10 minute felt unnecessary, cruel, and not-making-any-sense-icle.

Well, when it comes to that, the whole movie is essentially a shaggy dog story. Unlike Pinocchio, David never does become a real boy. EDIT: Yeah, I'm spoiling the movie. Well, although it's a pretty well-crafted film and probably worth seeing at least once even if just for the disturbing imagery of a boy robot having spinach vaccuumed out of its inards while saying "don't worry mommy, it doesn't hurt," with a cherbuic smile, it does have some pretty serious problems.
