Membership purge

In the next few days I plan on deleting any member who has not made a post in the forum, except for those that have recently joined. I suspect many of these accounts are spammers or sock puppets, or they have forgotten their passwords.

If you are a member who has never posted and you don't want me to delete your account either post a message in the forum or send me a private message.

If anyone else objects to the removal of these accounts let me know. I will probably delete the accounts on Saturday, December 13.

Would it be possible to change my name after you have removed the "unused" accounts? I first registered under the name BertL, but I forgot my password (and my email address). On almost every other forum I visit, I'm known as BertL. So yeah.

A good solution to your problem might be to can change your display name to BertL while keeping your user name BertLs. This way you won't lose your post count but everybody will see your name as BertL. Just click "Profile" at the top of this page, then click "Modify Profile", and then change your "Display Name".

Due to the limitations of this ancient forum software I wasn't able to search members by both the number of posts AND registration date. So rather than go through each profile and check the age of the account (a tedious process that I don't have the time or patience for right now) I decided to delete all "0 posts" accounts.
