I've looked over her site, and I read thru the thread. Eek. She's mad as a hatter. Just. Frikken. Wow. What's the deal with these people? I wish I knew. Still, it makes for a bit of light relief from time to time.

Would a much closer moon produce noticeably different moonrise/set times, provided that the rotation of the Earth is the same?
Also, wouldn't the location in the sky also change more noticeably with variations in latitude?

Her errors are so egregious as to render mathematical rebuttal or analysis irrelevant.
Method: look at a picture of the moon. Zoom in. Change colors with Gimp. Eventually see "something" and decide it looks like, say rows of missiles, or barracks, or individuals. Decide that what you see really IS a woman with a schnauzer on her lap (real example), therefore the moon is about the size of the planet in "The Little Prince."
My current avatar is one of her Mars image interpretations. Apparently NASA is hiding all kinds of horrible sexual and evil images and information embedded in these pictures.
