Don't suppose anyone clocked the hammer and feather nugget in one of the threads? Someone says one way was to use a bit of fishing line and attach the feather to the hammer. That thread has gained a few pages since I last looked, can't find it.

A weighted feather is still an airfoil, and will flutter in an atmosphere.

A weighted feather is still an airfoil, and will flutter in an atmosphere. Don't bring annoying facts into a HB debate! They serve no purpose to the HBs.

Like moonman and the "what keeps the vacuum from leaking into Earth's atmosphere" question alll over again.... This is brucel's contribution to the unified field theory: Quote: Originally Posted by frenat View Post Trap sunlight? Separate moon gravity from zero G? I thought the ignorance couldn't get worse. And there's that peculiar brand of chauvinism that despises NASA and yet still imagines it as the gatekeeper for all astronomical knowledge, as if no one else in the world ever looked at the sky or launched their own probes.

A weighted feather is still an airfoil, and will flutter in an atmosphere. Not when sprayed with starch. The genius of fakery.

So Brucel is another of those HBs who would rather invent a whole new form of Physics rather than admit to the possibility that, just maybe, Men may have landed on the Moon.... how many new branches of Physics is that now?

A weighted feather is still an airfoil, and will flutter in an atmosphere. African or European? (Python fans help those who don't get it)

If they don't get it, they shouldn't be on this forum...

A weighted feather is still an airfoil, and will flutter in an atmosphere. They (HB) say on earth, not able to prove the vacuum chamber. Then they can test this and see what happens when you tie a feather to a 2lb hammer and see how it falls, doesn't matter how see through the fishing line is. I am guessing the hammer leads by a neck dragging the feather down.

Well people, we may have a new contender for the dumbest post ever on an Apollo Hoax thread. This one is from ATS, and the brain surgeon responsible is poster (and soon to be legend) "GoldenFleece" He posted a close up of the Ascent Stage of the LM and said that it "looks like a second grade art project". When asked what, specifically, bothered him about the appearance he put forth this gem: www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread566601/pg212#pid9689969Yep, the gold mylar should have been "tarnished" and "dusty" after traveling in space. Dumber than dirt.

Yep, the gold mylar should have been "tarnished" and "dusty" after traveling in space. Mike Collins did spend a lot of time on Apollo 11 vacuuming up you know. Space dirt gets everywhere. He mentioned it in his book.

He mentioned it in his book. But he didn't need to vacuum the outside, cos its already a vacuum out there, hence the LM was already vacuumed. And even if he did go outside to vacuum, he would have died due to the Van Halen Belt hitting him. I have been drinking.
