Rob, these days most dvd players and tvs in europe can handle NTSC dvds. The only concern is region encoding which can be disabled on most players. There are sites on the net which tell you the handset number seqwuence required to unlock your player - and it is perfectly legal to do so. Of course if you are lucky enough to live in Zone 4, they consider the market too small to bother locking the DVD players anyway.

Yep. The TVs handle PAL / NTSC / SECAM, the DVD players handles the same etc.
In Australia it is illegal to "lock" a DVD player to a region.

It looks like most, if not all, of the series is on YouTube. I'm skipping ahead to the AGC episode.
