I agree that it is not easy and simple, but I know also that human rights organizations don't allow for justifications of abuses

I did note that even though condeming Jason's reply, you failed to actually answer it yourself. So what would you do lionking. Would you risk your life, your gunner's life, and your aircraft, along with the civilians, by landing and getting out in enemy territory, would you leave and let them go back to killing civilians, would you pull the tigger, or have you got another amazing solution to the problem? How about making sure that this is not a trap ? especially with the technology that can see if ther are other people around? I think you have watched too many movies. There isn't magical see through walls technology on gunships at this point in time. Their FLIR is useful, but only if the target is in the open so that they can bee seen directly by the camera. It also doesn't tell you if there are other insurgents 10 minutes away...

I agree that it is not easy and simple, but I know also that human rights organizations don't allow for justifications of abuses I agree with you here, they don't. Most of the people in these sort of organisations are idealists who have little understanding of the real world. It's all well and good to sit behind an office desk and speak on ideals when no one is shooting back at you or attempting to kill your friends or other people. Things tend to not be quite so black and white when you are on the battlefield and everything is going to heck in a handcart, or could at any second and you have to act now and do it in the way that you believe is going to save the most lives at the end of the day, preferably those of your mates.

After months on the release of Wikileaks, we have heard stunning things about Lebanese politicians and what they say behind locked doors. Some where brave enough to admit that they said this in a certain situation that affected them and required them, some insisted that they didn't say it.. whatever.. but the funniest comment I have ever heard was today. Our designated PM who is trying to form the government since months without any success yet, have said in Wikileaks documents that hizbolla is tumor that should be removed. Today, as I read an article referring to one of his sources, this source was asked about what Mikati said and he replied: Mikati meant is that HA is a BENIGN TUMOR...
What the hell those politicians and those who stand behind them think the people are I don't know..
but aside from that..it is a shame really what we have been reading no one lieks anyone but himslef, even his allies..let alone what they speak about the sects and what they think of israel's war.. Wikileaks really uncovered what the true nature of those smiling faces is
