What on Earth did he expect to happen? Seriously, I believe that Vincent and his ilk expect everyone here to go "OMG HE'S RIGHT!!!1!" and instantly convert, providing craven apologies for ever having doubted his theory. That's Plan 1. It works pretty well on YouTube, since most skeptics won't bother sitting through long amateur videos, while the true believes will, and leave messages of support. If a few contrary voices post anyway, they can always be removed or debate disabled. Plan 2, where he engages in the cut and thrust of debate to defend and refine his theory, does not exist, since Plan 1 is assumed to be all that's needed.

The HBs are like cell phones or laptops. This brought up an image for me. HBs are like smart phones. They talk a lot and are mostly just Angry Birds that waste your time.

Vincent, you're sending it to JW Studios for peer review? Having your work reviewed by somebody as equally ignorant as yourself is not what 'peer review' means. Peer review is having your work evaluated by qualified individuals in the relevant field. Jarrah White and his ilk are demonstrably not qualified. Bringing your work here for review was a better first step, but then you blew it when you ran away after being aggressively challenged.
(This post assumes Vincent is still reading even though he is no longer actively posting. I'm actually trying to help Vincent in his maturation process. I hope he read these and my previous words of advice.)

A man defends what he believes to be true and takes responsibility for his actions when shown to be wrong. I would phrase it as "an adult," but the sentiment is certainly true. Since Vincent is male, I chose to use the masculine. But your point is well taken - I would expect no less from the ladies.

What's with the finger in the ear thing??? Gads! Sometimes I wish they'd never invented internet cameras, what a waste of bandwidth this is.
Going to Jarrah for "review"...blind leading the blind. I just wish this kid would open a physics book. Thankfully for the future, there are those who do...

What bothers me most about Vincent, Fattydash, and all the others is the willful ignorance. There’s nothing wrong with being ignorant, we’re all ignorant about things we don’t need to know and don’t have the time to learn, but a responsible person acknowledges his/her shortcomings. The typical HB, however, will not acknowledge mistakes and deficiencies and refuses to learn anything that would force a reevaluation of his/her predetermined beliefs.
This forum is really a wonderful resource with many experts and educated layman that are always willing to give freely of their time to inform and educate others about Apollo and the related science. For persons to persist in their ignorance while rebuffing the generous efforts of this forum’s regular contributors is something I find pathetic and sad.
Vincent, for instance, seems to be a fairly intelligent lad who just happens to be terribly misguided. I hope he has a father figure at home who can straighten him out because he still has plenty of time to get his head screwed on right.
Vincent, if you want to start over, you’re welcomed to come back. But if you do, you better drop the arrogance and come here ready to learn from people who know what they’re talking about.

Most HBs don't sit through the videos either. They watch enough to see if they think they agree with it and then commence with the messages of support. That's how they fall for things like "Dark Moon". That's why they post sites and videos as sources that actually contradict themselves.

It appears Apollo was real... About Me: I hate saying this because I'm worried that hoaxers will be dissapointed. After watching nearly 3 hours of Apollo 17 footage, I found that all the proof I need is in the lunar gravity. The dust and regolith kicked around by the astronauts proves a true Apollo. Radiation is not enough to stop man in his on-going quest for exploration. Thank you to all the propagandists who helped me realize the evidence is just far too overwhelming." I guess he isn't your typical HB!

He did correspond privately with me a few times prior to coming here. His questions were typically of the form, "Jarrah said this, but I'm not sure that's right." I corrected him, and he seemed to accept the correction.
Keep in mind that this site was started by a young man who fell for Jack White's claims. But he was eventually persuaded to see what the real science was.

Here's a life lesson for you Vincent ... When you speak out on controversial topics, you're going to get challenged and you're going to get challenged hard. It's not personal and it's not mean-spirited. I think it's fair to say that had he come in politely asking questions that evidenced a sincere desire to learn, his reception would have been vastly different. He would have encountered a group of experienced, knowledgeable and very helpful folks who would have gone out of their way to get some real answers for him.

While I too congratulate Vincent... I have a small concern or two. As I just posted in a congratulatory note to his YT channel as a comment, I wonder what will he be doing with his many videos that still promote the hoax?
I politely offered to help him address that challenge (maybe he could create a new video, or set of them, to identify the flaws in the case for the denial) and then wished him well.
But that comment seems to have vanished within about a minute of it being posted. Perhaps it is just a cache or YT glitch, or perhaps he doesn't like how I responded to some of his claims, pre-recant...
Oh well. I was genuinely considering a donation to his space suit fund, but now...
hmmmm...
