He even used the phrase 'I don't buy that' on one occasion. "It's just not believeable!" Is he related to Moon Man?

Well I tend to have letter drop outs for the 'o' and the 'a' because I don't have a fully operational keyboard. Those keys don't like working all the time. As to Jay's people who leave the caps off spirit-based (i.e., whiteboard) markers, even waving them in the air as they speak. Get them the ones that can survive for up to 72 hours without the cap on.

Pet peeve of the day, right lane passers.
We did a nice motor tour to visit family for T-day. Several times we were driving in moderate traffic in the left lane, the kind where left lane traffic stays there because the slower cars and the big trucks are in the right lane and your are mostly overtaking someone. Well there is always one guy that will take any gap in the right lane as an opportunity to run up a few cars then force his way back into the smooth flow of cars in the left lane. I frequently get the cut in because I don’t tailgate and leave a safer spacing from the car in front of me.
Thank goodness gasoline prices have fallen, now it only costs my $60.00 to fill up, not $90.00.

I always pass people on the right, and occasionally on the left if they drive slow in the right-hand lane where there's two lanes. Now that is something that annoys me. People that head into the right-hand lane at a passing lane and then tootle along at about 90 so that they creep past the truck or whatever and take the entire passing lane to do it. And it's worse when it's a truck that does it. Grrrrr. (By the way if you haven't figured it out, we drive on the left. )

It is extremely rare for me to be passed on the right, and when it does happen, I take it as a signal that I'm doing something wrong (or perhaps in New Zealand ...

Same here - if someone passes on the right where I live, they'll either smash into a light post, or take out anywhere from one to over a dozen pedestrians on the sidewalk! (depending on whether it's at 11pm in the suburbs or around 5 pm at the end of workday downtown)

I'm forming a list of peeves involving shopping malls... or more specifically, the people in shopping malls. 1. People who won't get out of my way- I tend to walk pretty fast and I don't usually go from store to store browsing... I go to the mall knowing what I want and I go directly to the store that I know will have it. So I really hate when I get stuck behind someone who walks really slow and stops in front of every store to look in. And people really need to learn how to walk in a straight line... I swear some people must be drunk when they shop because they swerve from one side of the aisle to the other making it impossible to pass them. The worst are the people who gather in groups in the middle of an aisle to chat, blocking the way for others.
2. People who are rude to the sales staff- They don't like being there any more than you do and they have to deal with the stress for longer than the customers. It may look like a simple job that a trained monkey could do but it is stressful, especially at this time of year.
- The sales people aren't the ones who determine the prices of the merchandise so complaining to them about how expensive something is will get you nowhere.
- When a sales person struggles to do simple math in their head please keep in mind that at this time of year the stress has turned the part of their brain that does arithmetic into mush.
- If you wait until Christmas Eve to do your shopping don't blame the sales people if they are out of stock of something you want. Also, don't blame the staff for the long lines of customers or the difficulty you had finding a parking spot.

Why isn't there a smiley that shows someone banging someone else's head against a wall or desk? There are hundreds of smileys that can be used but they are not neccessarily used on any particular forum. Perhaps when Lunar Orbit has a bunch of free time he can expand the smiley file for this forum to include a desk or wall banger. ;D

Another peeve about shopping. God bless the old folks, but it can drive me nuts waiting in line behind a little old lady fumbling through her purse for every penny trying to make the exact change!
