ginnie I don't follow up on local or global football teams. I only follow up if Lebanon is playing against some country and the World cup. However, if you want, I'll support this team for you not to be left alone gillianren you mean you didn't go out or meet with the family? I discovered that it is more fun to meet together with the family and the relatives than going to party. When we used to do that, it was more fun, but today, the fashion is to go to party and dinner in some restaurant. Yesterday, we did this like last year. I didn't like the atmosphere a lot. I think that it had been better if we remained next to the chimney or whatever you call that metal thing that gives off heat, next to the television showing the parties of different singers and predictors for the next year. However, tht would have been so if the family and relatives agreed to stay home. They decided to go out, so I went with them.

you mean you didn't go out or meet with the family? The buses here don't run on New Year's Day, so there was no going out as an option. My older sister lives here in Olympia, but her husband and I don't get along, so holidays together are right out. The rest of my family lives in various other states or is dead. Even then, there's a lot of them that I wouldn't voluntarily spend time with. I spent part of Christmas with friends (I could have gone to Graham's brother's house, but then I would've had to've dealt with Graham's younger brother, whom I can't stand), but I had a depressive episode and had to go home early. Besides all that, my current income is US$339 a month (soon to go up to $630, now I'm approved for federal disability), so going anywhere isn't much of an option.

No trips for me this year. Only had Christmas day and New Years days off. We had a nice Christmas at home with my brother and family visiting on Wednesday and Thursday. The friends we usually spend New Years with moved to Fort Worth, about four hours north. Since we were working Monday, driving that far was not an option. So we stayed home. The kids went to bed early and I stayed up till five AM playing my semi annual game of Civilization. I got up at 8am New Years day to continue.

However, if you want, I'll support this team for you not to be left alone Great. Chicago Blackhawks are a ice hockey team. They play in the National Hockey League, made up of six Canadian and twenty four U.S. teams. It was formed in 1917 believe. Their championship trophy is called the Stanley Cup. Chicago has only won three, which is not very much - the last time was way back in 1961. Among their superstars over the years have been great player like Bobby Hull, Stan Makita, Glenn Hall, Tony Esposito and Denis Savard. This is their team logo: Bobby Hull: The Stanley Cup: Chicago Blackhawks History: www.geocities.com/Colosseum/3815/history.htmwww.sportsecyclopedia.com/nhl/chicago/blackhawks.htmlNHL website: www.nhl.comHockey in Canada is the number one sport in popularity. I know Chicago is an American team, but up until recently most players in the NHL were Canadian. Not that it really matters, there are some great American players too (and Russian, Finnish, Swedish, Czech...). Oh, if you're a Chicago fan you have to hate the Toronto Maple Leafs. Don't ask why, just hate them. Most Chicago fans also hate the Detroit Red WIngs, but I don't. You can listen to Blackhawk games here: blackhawks.nhl.com/Click on l isten Live (670-AM). So now there's two Blackhawk fans here. Great!

Since I haven't had any response to the above post, I'll assume there aren't any Leaf fans on this board. ;D
