The mistaken identification of AS17-146-22367 as being the LRV's "final parking space at Station 8" unfortunately appears on several NASA website The "final parking place" and "Station 8" being different locations should be a clue that something's amiss. According to the photo index, Station 8 is correct for the inset photo.

This is the first time I've heard about old Apollohoax threads on Google. Is there a particular way to search for them?

This is the first time I've heard about old Apollohoax threads on Google. Is there a particular way to search for them? Include site:apollohoax.com in the search, then hit the cached link in the results, i.e. site:apollohoax.com LRVNo idea how comprehensive the cache archives are, though. I only ran across the posthumous link by chance myself, googling for as17-146-22367 "final parking space".

Many thanks, Data Cable. Whenever I have some spare time every few months I retrieve my posts and any interesting replies and save them in a Word file, but I lost 30 when the old board closed down. Thanks to your information above, I was able to get back all but the last four from roughly the final two weeks of the board.
